*****Update-Feb 8th, 2023**** Before editing this review again, I was thinking, "How can I find a single element that adequately expresses all aspects of a phone mount?" Approximately 3 years ago, after having the pleasure of contacting VANMASS customer service about the suction cup temperature issue, I determined that their customer service goes above and beyond any other offered by an internet-based company. Usually, when purchasing an item the transaction is over after I can use it as expected and the seller has resolved all my issues. But what I didn't expect was that when I returned to the office back from my Xmas break in 2023 I received an email from a VANMASS wishing me a happy new year and wanting to know how the product was performing now. The 36-month warranty offered by VANMASS is more than a simple guarantee. No matter how much time has passed they still consider the needs and feelings of each customer. These guys have again renewed my belief in humanity with their over-the-top customer service. To the initial query, I believe I have an answer, and that factor is the CERTIFICATION OF TIME. Although the Amazon marketplace is sophisticated, the mission of the phone mount is simple - to make driving easy. This mount has done that for the past 3 years, and I think it will do so well beyond that given its high quality of it. I travel quite frequently with my kids and love to go on adventures with them. Each year we prepare a list of places and people we wish to visit that year. Now that the world has opened up again and the once-sleepy cities have long since been awakened it's time to get out into the world again. We traveled through numerous cities with this car mount, ensuring that we can reach where we need to be. When it's cool outside I'll use the suction cup and when it's hot I'll move the mount to the vents. Either way, you can use the holder to hold your phone as it charges while also allowing it to navigate. This not only ensures safe driving but also consistently saves us money on expensive gasoline Ultimate success in life is created by day-to-day persistence, a process that is often tedious, repetitive, and requires patience. I discovered that they had added more colors. Among them is purple, my daughter's favorite color, I didn't hesitate to get one then because I had no idea that any company even made a purple phone holder. If you told one customer service of a car mount company that every time you finish eating Mexican food, your car mount will be fall off, so you want a refund, what should the customers service do? VANMASS gave us the right answer, they communicate with me over 10 emails, finially solved the issue. I have to say that the moment I got VANMASS I was very satisfied. The package is very simple and elegent. You can tell it is not the same thing as the $5 car mount on the market. The product is an artwork, the cutting is neat, all parts are complete, and the installation is very easy. At first, there was no issue at all, then something strange happened. There are two Mexican restaurants not far from my company, I picked up my lunch there sometimes. The strange thing is that every time I come back from Serrano's, my car mount will fall off, and then I need to clean the suction cup and re-attach them to the dashboard. But I didn't encounter this problem when I came out of another Mexican restaurant. I put the car in the same parking lot, it is so frustrating. I contacted VANMASS for warranty, I think VANMASS is a little wronged though. This kind of thing keeps happening, it is really frustrating. I did not not expect that, the customer service of VANMASS, reply me immediately, and did not think it was a spoof. After she got the details, she asked a question about how long I usually stay in Serrano's. Then I understood the problem. Serrano's business is better than the other restaurant in near street. It took me about one hour to finish my lunch at Serrano's instead half-hour at others. Customer service told me that when the temperature outside the car is 100 ℉， after half an hour, the temperature inside the car is about 130℉, after one hour, 150℉. The car mount fall out because of the temperature growth rapidly. From then on, I would insert the car mount into the the vent or park the car in the shade during the hot weathers, no matter which Mexican restaurant I went to, I never encountered this problem again, lol I am very grateful to the customer service of VANMASS for helping me solve the problem. I truly feel that VANMASS is professional and responsible, the reply is timely and not perfunctory. In short, VANMASS is a brand I CAN TRUST! Best shopping experience on Amazon.

Very good cell phone holder made by a very good company! If you are looking for a solid holder that can handle large phones, then look no further. I have a Samsung S23Ultra in an Otterbox case with ThinOptics reading glasses case attached and this holder holds the whole package securely (sometimes too securely). Clamping and releasing the phone is quick and easy with very little vibration driving down the road. Suction cup mount to the windshield is best. The vent mount is less secure and needs to be reset periodically. Not hard to do, but more messing around than the suction cup which is "set & forget" Why did I say "sometimes too securely"? Because it clamps the phone so tightly that its grip is stronger than the plastic ball mount. As my son found out, removing the phone enough times without pushing the release button will result in the fingers of the ball mount breaking. I contacted Vanmass to see if I could buy a replacement head and they let me know that the unit was still under warranty and promptly sent me a whole new unit. Great to see when a company stands behind their product! Summary: Solid mount and excellent customer service. I highly recommend (just remember to push the release button!)

I have gone through some phone mounts! THIS ONE IS THE B.E.S.T.!! It holds the phone the best, the suction cup STAYS, never have to readjust it, it really is a MUST HAVE! I will note that after 6 months, a part broke. I was super sad. I emailed them and they responded RIGHT AWAY! Had me take a picture of the code on the back which tells them the manufacturing date. ANYWAYS....this was just on Sunday Jan 4th and I got the new one today Jan 7th!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, SPEEDY RESHIP, AND MY PHONE IS BACK ON A MOUNT!

EDIT: Since the Vanmass vent clip didn't originally work too well on my 2012 Prius central vents (above the dashboard screen) on the initial tries (since the vent bar is thicker than normal vents), I tried the iOttie Easy One Touch 5 Air Vent Mount. The Vanmass vent clip is actually better than the iOttie one for my Prius! I like that the Vanmass clip opens up, vs the iOttie one you have to somewhat shove it onto the vent, which might damage your vent. After seeing how the iOttie vent clip worked, I tried opening the Vanmass vent clip as much as possible, then firmly pressing it onto the central Prius vent, and it actually fit with some force (I didn't want to try applying too much force initially, but it doesn't seem there are many good, affordable, vent mount options on the market for Priuses). The Vanmass car mount also supports itself better than the iOttie one, so your vent doesn't droop down as much from the weight (there will be some drooping, so you lose some vent-positioning functionality, but overall the Vanmass car vent mount makes the vent droop down less). It doesn't feel as secure on my central Prius vent as I'd like (you can still somewhat move the clip around the vent even though it's clasped), but it feels just as secure as the iOttie one did with less risk of damaging your vent. I'll have to do some test drives to see how it holds up over time. So overall, I would still recommend the Vanmass vent clip over iOttie. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The vent attachment clip was unfortunately too narrow to fit the vents of my 2012 Toyota Prius that are located above the central display. It may have worked better on the side vent near the car door, but I prefer to have the phone mounted on the central vent, which this vent clip was unfortunately unable to do. However, if you have standard vents of a regular thickness (unlike the central Prius vents, which are pretty thick), the vent attachment should work out great. I originally chose this vent clip because of the softer silicone in the clip, which prevents scratching your vent! I’ve read in reviews that if your dashboard is textured like in the 2012 Prius, the dashboard suction won’t adhere well. This product does include a separate, round, plastic pad that you can adhere to the dashboard to help out the suction cup. I personally haven’t tried the dashboard attachment method because I don’t want to risk damaging my dashboard with adhesive or the suction cup, but it is a nice option to have. I like how Vanmass includes vent, dashboard, and windshield attachment options all in one product! A lot of other competitors don’t seem to do that, which also initially attracted me to this product. You do need to close the phone mount clasps manually (in contrast to some other car phone mounts that automatically close when you place your phone in it), but this is a nice feature that I personally feel is safer (I wouldn’t want my fingers to get hit while placing my phone on a mount!) and reduces the risk of damaging your phone (I wouldn’t want the clasps to close quickly automatically onto my phone or phone case and damage it!). It’s a little noisy closing the clasps onto the phone, but when you press the release button, it opens the clasps very smoothly and nicely. Overall, I think the Vanmass phone car mount has a lot of potential, nice features, and provides a lot of different attachment methods that are wonderful to have, but it just wasn’t quite compatible with my Prius’s central vents where I wanted to use it. Customer service was excellent in helping me though. They said they didn’t have a product that would fit the thicker Prius vents, but they promptly replied to emails and helped me obtain a refund on my purchase. I’m very satisfied with the assistance I received! For this reason, I would not be afraid to try out any Vanmass product. If you’re unsure if a product will fit your car, it’s worth a shot to purchase it and test it out!

Comprei este suporte para fixação do telemóvel na minha Mercedes Citan. A embalagem não vinha selada mas tudo vinha bem acondicionado com o suporte de telemóvel e mais 2 acessórios: um para o pára-brisas ou tablier e um outro para as grelhas de ventilação do veículo. Reparei no entanto que faltava o disco adesivo para fixação firme em tabliers rugosos, descrito em vídeos e no conteúdo da caixa na página do produto na Amazon. Fui testar no carro e o perfil das alhetas de ventilação da Citan inviabilizaram logo esta alternativa de colocação. Restava o pára-brisas e o tablier. O pára-brisas na Citan é, para este fim, incómodo e pouco prático devido à profundidade / distância da superfície mais baixa do vidro, dificultando a colocação e remoção frequente do telemóvel. Restava o tablier mas para tabliers rugosos é necessário a instalação de um disco adesivo para uma fixação firme. Contactei diretamente por email os serviços da VANMASS e a resposta chegou em menos de um dia. Foi-me explicado que o disco adesivo já não constaria nas peças incluídas na caixa porque a ventosa foi melhorada para tabliers, ainda assim, continua a ser necessário no caso de tabliers com textura rugosa. Em abono da verdade, na caixa que recebi da VANMASS não existe nenhuma referência ao disco adesivo, existe apenas na descrição do conteúdo da caixa na Amazon e nos vídeos de unboxing. Resumindo, foi-me proposto que encomendasse à parte o disco adesivo na Amazon que seria reembolsado do respectivo valor pela Amazon. Foi o que fiz, aguardando agora o reembolso. The quality of the product is excellent and luxurious

I bought this Vanmass Car Phone Holder and was impressed with the very speedy delivery from Amazon. The Vanmass packaging is top quality and the installation instructions are clear. When I opened the contents, the first thing I noticed was the weight and good quality of the hardware. It all seemed really solid and well-made. Once I got familiar with the assembly, I liked the adjustability of the linked components. The holder plate is adjustable in all directions with a ball joint that can be tightened with a knurled wheel, once the ideal orientation is found. The clamp itself opens nice and wide, with a smooth, damped action on pressing the easily-reached release button. The arm has two adjustable joints that are tightened up by means of wing-nuts. One joint pivots, the other slides telescopically. Again, the feeling is one of solidity. Since the main arm is telescopic – it is possible to alter the reach of the phone nearer to, or further away from, the driver. This I think is very convenient. The telescoping action is tightly secured with the wing-nut. The entire kit, as supplied, offers three methods of attachment to the car. The first is via a gripping component that attaches to the grille vent on the face of the dashboard. This looks like an upgraded version and has a ball connector for direct connection to the phone-holding plate. This clamp can be tightened up, again with a wing-nut, onto a vent grille chosen to suit the driver. The second method is by an angled sucker gripping directly onto the inside of the windscreen. This looks very well-designed and suction is achieved by operating a lever on the body of the suction housing. The sucker dome is itself very adherent to the glass. This is where the telescopic arm of the device really comes into its own. Of necessity, it can be quite a reach from the internal surface of the glass to a point above the dashboard to where the driver’s fingers can actually make contact with the phone. The generous extending arm makes this feasible and more comfortable. It’s a good idea to arrange the installation so that a part of the arm is resting on the dash edge – to increase vertical stability even further. But, this is certainly not essential due to the general weight and quality of the Vanmass product. The final method of attachment is on the top surface of the dash itself. For this, Vanmass supply a self-attaching pad, onto which the suction pad is then applied. This needs the dash top to be fairly flat and smooth. Again, it depends on the car design, but also allowing a part of the arm to rest on the dash edge would be useful for stability – but not vital. All-in-all, a nice product of obvious high quality and it’s great to have such a wide choice of different installation methods. I’ve also found Vanmass customer service in the past to be excellent. Well done Vanmass.

Material selection and finish are top. Suction Cup not yet tested. The cup still looks a lot more professional than even RAM suction cups. Do not use the Air Vent Holder with heavier handy like GPS phones. Will cause damage to the vent wing adjustment system.
