This is easy enough to do. Make sure the ribbon cable is securely locked in place and carefully support the screen while testing it.Only 4 stars because a couple of the small supplied sticky tape cut-outs were missing. Otherwise it would have been five.Also, it wouldn't have hurt for them to supply some instructions or at least a link to some. I followed the ifixit instructions online and they were straightforward.Be aware that it doesn't come with the home-button, but this is easy to transfer from the old screen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective replacement *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 July 2019* Used it as a third replacement on my other half's Ipad due to series of freak accidents and lack of finance to purchase new one. I have now got it down to a fine art but you need to follow an online guide initially, take your time and be patient and methodical. Everything worked as it should although adhesion could be better in spite of careful cleaning of surfaces with alcohol, You will almost certainly lose the plastic beading on the outside of screen so it is worth buying a cheap and cheerful soft plastic protective case that covers the edges. Having never replaced a screen before, I found this to be a good quality product and was to use.
