Charming picture book about a young inventor who dreams of becoming an engineer. When her aunt challenges her, Rosie learns that failure is just a step towards success. Review: Fab book! - Iggy Peck was a cool little kid and a pretty talented architect to boot, Rosie Revere would have a lot to live up to. And she does not disappoint. This is a lovely little tale that tells a strong message i.e it is better to try and fail, than to never try at all. Rosie is fascinated by the very male dominated world of engineering and is encouraged by her Grandmother- finally female lead characters that are not princesses! Hoorah! Like Iggy Peck (which i also highly recommend), this book is full of colouful and quirky illustrations. Every child (especially little girls) should have a copy of this book on their shelves. Review: Lovely book - Made a lovely gift. I love this range for empowering children, especially our girls who are often left behind.

Beautiful and inspiring for children who worry about making mistakes at school
I am a female engineer, and bought this for my 3 year old extrovert god daughter, but the story has far more relevance to my nephew. As I read it to my son for the first time, I couldn’t help but cry! Wonderfully written, a great moral that failure is how we learn and evolve our ideas, perfect for perfectionists who won’t engage in case they get it wrong. Too advanced for my 3 year old, but good for slightly older children.

A great book
The book not only has great illustrations but also an important moral. It allows children to develop their imagination and creativity

I love this book. To clarify- someone asked what's the reading level for Rosie Revere? Doesn't he know that Rosie is just a fictional character and, therefore, is unable read at all. Sorry to break this to you.

Beautiful
Such a lovely story with a beautiful message - the inclusion of details of women involved in aviation was as interesting for me as it was my 5 year old. A real girl power story - we love it.

A good book to teach younsters not to give up on a dream.
Whilst Rosie Revere is not quite as captivating as Happy Birthday Madame Chapeau it will appeal to my five year old grand-daughter when she comes to stay. It is a beautifully written book with illustrations that involve the child. It has an excellent storyline showing you shouldn't give up on something you really want to do just because some people don't have the same interests as you.

I love this book. I have daughters - and I'm always encouraging that they can do anything they put their mind to. This is a great book to read to your kids.

Both my 5-year-old and I love this book. It has quirky rhyming text and beautiful illustrations, and the message it imparts is an important one. My daughter even uses the phrase "perfect flop" sometimes in conversation now.
