For me that is certification enough. **Q: Can i use it for a piercing bump?** A: This oil is meant for rubbing into the skin, in my case to relieve kneepain. You always could give it a try for your bump, as long as you do not rub it directly into an open wound or broken skin. However, I stopped buying this product after I discovered that 'refining' oil implies 'using chemicals that may be harmful to us' eg the oil was treated with acid, or purified with an alkali, or bleached.
