Kodak 3949948 Genuine 10B/ 10C Ink Cartridge Combo Pack - Black/ Colour (425/ 420 Pages)

Ok this ink may not be exactly equal in terms of quality to some of the higher end HP inks but at literally a 5th of the price the value more than makes up for being short on high end quality. Please don't get me wrong for every day use this ink is perfect and I even use it combined with glossy paper to print photographs and the quality is very good just not what a professional photographer would use for prints. But for the average household this is perfect. I used to use HP printers and inks and a lot of the time replacement ink cost more that what the printer did and a lot of the time I found myself writing pages and pages of text as I didn't want to use my HP printer if I didn't have to. Where as now I can happily print whatever I like because the Kodak ink is so cheap when compared with others. Some might think because it falls a little short in high end quality it should only get 4 stars but the value for money trumps that for the average person.

I am just editing my original review. I still agree that the price for the cartridges is indeed the cheapest I have been able to find - although they used to be £15 for the set not £18+ as they are now. Like the other reviewer though I find that I am having to replace the cartridges more frequently. My combi printer is around 18 months old. Since I put in a full set of cartridges about 2 months ago I have printed 3 small (4 x 6) photos, two colour sheets for decoupage, a few other items containing a little colour, and around 10 sheets of b/w (not solid text documents though). This works out very expensive indeed so I won't be using it to print any photos again. I also feel that the colour does not reproduce accurately to the original. It's a big disappointment as I bought this printer primarily for lower cost and good colour when printing off items for cardmaking.

Does what it says on the box

. As usual good . The only thing I find wrong is that if you don't use it continually it dries up very quickly. I only use my printer 2-3 time a week, sometimes not even that, Last time I bought this I only used it e times in 2 months. Next time I went to use it the print was terrible and I had to go get another 1 to print the item I wanted quckly

Order this every time as it saves me money and these cartridges are so economic, easy to fit and I love the Kodak system it's so cheap and suits me in every way. Not sure yet if cartridges last a little less time than other dearer cartridges but don't care too much they cost a lot less and so initial lay out seems less and if that means I think I am getting a better deal that will do for me. I am sure someone out there has done a test and seen which cartridge lasts longer but I am happy not knowing. Usually delivered very quick but took a bit longer this time probably because of Christmas. Recommend 100% and will be back to order my next cartridge.

Highly recommend Kodak products. For a few years now, I have owned a Kodak ESP-5 printer and only buy Kodak ink cartridges. Had a problem with the printer head once but one phone call to Kodak and they sent a free replacement. This seller on Amazon was quick to post out to me and arrived safely. Would use seller again, however to be honest I don't care who I buy it from (as its only printer ink!!) as long as they are reliable and cheaper than any one else!

i have had a kodak esp 5 printer for some years and use it often. these cartridges are very easy to click into place. the printer tells me when i am running low on inks.nothing could be easier. i bought these from amazon as the price was good. i shop around for them and in the past have bought them "as i've seen them" especially when they are on offer. i suspect that all printer inks are expensive but these give good results (i print lots of photos). a pity that they are not refillable.

Good prompt delivery at a reasonable value for money. This is only the second change of cartridges since buying my new Kodak printer. I totally dispute the long duration of all my previous 10B and 10C cartridges. Each lasted, not even 100, printed sheets. It seems that even if you only print B&W and very little colour, the colour ink levels go down at the same rate ... the printer decides that you need to change the cartridges... and switches off until you put new ones in. I was sure there was a lot of ink left, but I couldn't find a way of over-riding the printer's brain to make it carry on printing til it finally really run out of ink. I would dispute Kodak's claim of 425 sheets. I won't totally rate this product badly until I have proved that this purchase gives me a good number of copies.
