Does this watch show the date?

Yes.The top half of the watch shows the day (Sat), month (11), and date (30). The bottom half of the watch shows the time.

Will it show scratches on crystal over time?

I have worn mine every day for six months and no scratches yet.

Is the color in the picture accurate?

This is not an accurate photo of watch. The watch is black and not the grey color. Also the display is a lot clearer in person. Check ebay for better pictures of nice watch
