"Worship what you Love and Love the way you worship." - Danielle La Porte. This is one of my favourite quotes from the new book by Danielle Laporte and for me, it sums up her whole ethos. Unlike some spiritual/self-help book writers, Danielle doesn't shy away from unpleasant, inconvenient truths about how our choices - individually and collectively - impact our own everyday life and the world around us. As she says, positive thinking is great, but it will only get you so far. She is an inspiration to soul-centred activists and love warriors. She will invite you to step out of the crowd at times - whether that crowd is a corporate clique or your spiritual sanctuary - so that you might reconnect with your own intuition and instincts. She will inspire and challenge you to stand up for what you believe in and more than anything, she will en-courage you to believe in yourself. If embraced, this courage will help you to shine a light on your own inner truth - your passions, your ideals, your unique gifts - and bring forth the integrity to celebrate that truth in the outside world. Loved , loved this book - downloaded the audio version whilst waiting for the book to arrive. I had so many aha moments and also cringe worthy moments too as I could relate to some of the stories Danielle was writing about, highly recommend this book to anyone who wants clarity and focus and a kick up the behind to get going with your life , beautifully written, adored it .

As a Yoga Teacher Trainer, I have a fascination with personal development or self-help books and, as such, have bought everything Danielle is peddling. Just like Danielle's "Desire Map" turned our desires on their head, so this book turns the entire self-help genre on its head! I received this book early as part of the Launch Team and was thrilled to see it didn't disappoint. Even without the audio version I could hear Danielle's tone all over it, telling us to take what we like and leave the rest and to stop turning self-help into self-flagellation. It's a brave thing for a self-help guru to tell us to reduce our fascination with self-help but Danielle is that brave. I really enjoyed the book and heartily recommend it.

One of the best books I have invested in. Lots of deep thoughts, eye-opening truths and inspiration, even some big laughs. I love Danielles writing sarcastic style and honesty. This book is absolutely for anyone, who want to go deeper into innerself.

This book is for anyone suffering from self-help, spiritual-seeking or therapy fatigue. Laporte writes in a warm, witty, clear tone, pointing you back to where the real answers are, not with her, but with you. This is a simple point, but it is priceless. As a therapist, I recommend this book wholeheartedly.
