Of course it can. If your fan have pull chain switch, before using the wireless remote control, use the switch to turn the fan speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. In this way the switch and the wireless remote control can be used together.

Q: I just purchased this and installed it. Everything works but the unit in the fan clicks very loud when pushing the fan buttons. Is this normal ?

Yes, that's completely normal. That is the power relay which controls the fan speed. It should only click when you make a speed adjustment. So please don't worry.

This remote have 4 DIP code, and not LEARN key; KUJCE10712 have a LEARN key to match receiver and not DIP code. This FAN-53T remote control working at the frequency 303.9MHz, and KUJCE10712 working at the frequency 304.250. I'm not sure if this frequency difference can be matched. So we recommend you to buy remote control kit with receiver. It can definitely work for your fan. Thanks !
