I would recommend you refer to the owner's manual - it should say what viscosity you require. If you haven't got a manual for it, you can often find online manuals - most manufacturers do them, and often have a Helpline too. Strongly recommend checking , as it may not do your machine any favours using an incorrect spec. oil. Sorry not to offer a more concrete answer, but wiser to err on the side of caution! ;-)

You need to be careful on this. Only use what the manufacturers of the outboard engine tell you to use. If it says to use a GL5 semi syn oil then use it. But if it says to use a GL3 or more commonly a GL 4 only use those ones. There is a difference in how GL5 lubricates compared to a GL4. This is to do with the extreme pressure agents and sacrificial layers required on the gear surfaces. They have different additives.Use the wrong one and your gears will become toast more quickly than they should.

Yes, you can use this in any bike gearbox or final drive that specifies a GL4 gear oil of 80-90SAE spec. It is a mineral based oil which is fine for nearly all gearboxes unless a synthetic based oil is specified. Usually synthetic is not required in most bikes, however, check you manual to make sure. I've used it in my Vespa GTS300 final drive gearbox for 70,000 miles without issue and I thrash the pants off it!

Good quality oil.

Very happy with the oil. I am using it as motorcycle chain lube and it is working well.Quality is good and a good price .This will probably last me for years .

Reasonable price for a good quality oil.

I buy this oil for my E Type differential. It’s fairly priced and of good quality. The diff performs well without any strange noises.

Great chain lubricant as recommended by Honda

Bought to use as chain lubricant for my motorbike. Excellent, does not fling, does not wash out. This stuff has a very strong industrial smell you can't ignore - I love it but then if they made a deodorant that smelled like WD40 and Castrol R I'd use that too.

It works and has a good price.

Bought to use in a 1977 Triumph Bonneville gearbox and in the bevel-box of a petrol Qualcast cultivator. Neither machine has complained after heavy use - especially the cultivator. That poor thing has been abused this year. I can only construe from this that it is an effective lubricant. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
