Brabantia 427169 Toilet Brush and Holder - Brilliant Steel

Well designed. The 'business' side: Brush feels substantial & handle is all in one, not 2 parts screwed together like some, plus the 'lid/splash shield' is higher up than others, which means that more of the toilet bowl is easy to reach without the lid bit touching the sides of the toilet when getting to the 'awkward bits'. Moreover, said lid/splash shield has a plastic rim, so if you do happen to scrape the toilet bowl with it, it doesn't scratch or leave a mark (unlike others I've used). The brush is quite large & has lots of bristles & seems to be effective. Being black & grey it might look better than a white one after lots of use (I think?). The plastic liner is very easy to take out to clean. You can also take the metal casing off the wall bracket to clean too, by pressing a plastic 'latch' on the bracket & turning the metal casing to release it. This bit is slightly more awkward depending on how easy it is for you to reach the 'latch' once the unit is in place on the wall. I think it has to be done firmly but gently, as the 'catch' bits are plastic & I suspect may break off if too roughly handled. OK once you get the knack. The metal case & bracket feel a bit less substantial than the brush itself, but they're just a receptacle for the brush, so seem fine as they are. The look?: Clean lines, simple classy look (as far as a toilet brush/holder can be classy?!!) - certainly as nice & as sturdy as the £120(!) ones I saw in some shops. I think well worth the £35. I've only been using this for a few weeks, but seems good quality & seems as if it will wear well, though the decades will tell!

Great Quality fits on the wall and is easy to locate and use. Leaves the floor uncluttered. Internal container holding the brush comes out for cleaning.

I love this brush, it is slightly heavier and closes completely when the brush is placed back in the cannister. I would give it 5 stars, except it arrived with some small scratch marks on the top, which takes away from the design beauty. It is a very functional brush and does its job very well.

Expensive, but you won't find better quality of all the component parts for the money. The Rolls Royce of toilet brushes, lol!

You pay for what you get. Amazingly sturdy, strong with a premium feel and heavy weight to it. Brushed metal looks modern and clean and the plastic container inside does not emit odours like in cheap plastic. Can suffer a bit of weight on the stick and does not snap like in cheap toilet brushes. Pros - Nice weighted feel Strong brush stick Good hard brush Self standing holder or can be wall mounted. Premium design Cons - A bit pricey for a toilet stick but you pay for what you get.

I love these toilet brushes as they come in several finishes from shiny stainless to matt or white/black coated. They are nice looking, sturdy, easy to keep clean and the brush is black... perfect colour for cleaning toilets! The heads last ages and you can get replacements too. You may think they're initially expensive, but long term they are great value. I've had mine years and they still look great. Highly recommended

Good quality product. Looks to be well made and should last. Has some weight to it so doesn't fall over easily ( I use it free standing). The brush is a mix of black and dark grey bristles and the lid fits well into the inner plastic container keeping everything nice and hygienic.

Can’t fault this brush , after three very expensive mistakes where the brush isn’t fit for purpose and wasted a lot of money I have now made up for it with this toilet brush that was £20 cheaper for not being polished chrome , has a lovely firm bristle brush that cleans with ease , a handy caddy that you can mount on the wall - what more could you ask for apart from a cleaner to go with it - superb

Utilisé en complément du distributeur de savon Matt Steel, l'harmonie entre les produits est vraiment parfaite. Le produit est vraiment esthétique et de qualité. Meme la brosse! Elle nettoie vraiment bien. Le support s'accroche très facilement au mur avec deux vis fournit dans le kit. Après on accroche le "fut" en le clipsant dessus en quelques secondes. Il est bien sur très facile de le décrocher avec l'encoche prévu pour au bas du support si pour une raison quelconque on veut nettoyer le mur ou autre. Bien sur il est possible d'enlever le seau à l’intérieur pour le nettoyer --> chose qu'il n'est pas possible de faire sur beaucoup de brosse.

Bristles so stiff they don’t reach corners to clean! I sadly bought 3 for each of my bathrooms - big mistake 😡

J'ai équipé mes deux toilettes avec ce porte-goupillon. Il est très classe, pratique, facile à fixer au mur (avec une perceuse quand même). On peut donc facilement passer la serpillère ou le robot-aspirateur. J'ai complèté cet ensemble avec le "Brabantia 427206 Distributeur de Rouleaux de Papier WC ", ce qui donne un look luxe à mes toilettes. Je suis très satisafait!
