Seiko QXR130B Radio Controlled Wooden Mantel Clock, Dark Brown, 23.5 x 17.5 x 8.9cm

I have had Seiko watches and clocks for 50 years and they are always a good quality item. This mantel clock looks great, with its traditional style wooden case, and keeps very accurate time so far, although I've only had it a week. It should do, receiving the NPL/MSF atomic clock radio signal, accurate to 1 second in 300 million years!! A nice big clear face readable from a distance. Setup only took 10 minutes. I put it near an upstairs window. The hands whir round for a bit, then stop at the correct time and it starts from there. I then put it on the downstairs living room mantle, where it runs happily. I cannot hear any ticking sound myself. If you want a good accurate mantle clock then look no further.

Though slightly smaller than our previous clock it actually suits our matle shelf better. It has a clear face easy to read at distance. It was very good value for money and its easy to adjust. It keeps excellent time because its set from the National atomic clock by radio.
