Leather Dye, Dark Brown, 4 oz.

Used this dye to darken a pair of light red shoes. Came out brilliantly. Nice dark brown hue.

It work well good coverage.

Sadly after 4/5 coats plus a cream layer, the dye hasn’t given me the dark chocolate brown I was hoping for - the shoes are more of a chestnut colour. Although they still look nice (and are much darker than when I started) I may have to have them professionally dyed to get the result I want. Notwithstanding this, the dye was easy to use - just make sure the area you are working in is properly ventilated.

looks great and easy to use. really good quality and highly functional get a decent amount of it, certainly don’t need to much of it as it’s quite effective in small amounts.

Too runny and definitely not dark brown. Have ordered an alternative for the second coat. Not at all impressed with this dye.

Very pleased with is product. I dyed some light brown boots in to a darker brown and the dye worked well. However, I had to use it twice more to get the dye in to the creases after wearing the boots, the colour has really got in to the leather now and I'm very pleased with the result. A pair of boots I wasn't wearing, I wear all of the time now.

Worked well on my old faded Gronell boots, look like new now.

The product worked well on the leather chair which was showing signs of wear. Unfortunately I did not receive the applicator and used a sponge instead, resulting in stained hands and nails. I had to resort to bleach to remove the stain. Disappointed that I did not get the applicator.

Very good product

Product works AMAZING! I had ordered a leather sling for my farm shotgun and when it arrived it looked like it was dried out and there was light brown and spotty places in colors, some were pinkish some really really light brown so I put some leather care wax on it - didn't help at all. So I then ordered this in dark brown. I applied one coat following the directions, removed it following the directions and finished it off with a coat of leather protector as noted in the instructions. The sling came out beautiful! Ten times better than I thought it would have come out with only one coat! The sling feels like it has had life brought back to it, when I ordered it, it was "new" but man oh man she sure looked like she had been around for a while but this Leather dye fixed it up no issues! I love the color shade it produced as well, even was able to match my buttstock wrap. A little goes a long way on a sling so I have plenty left over for others in the future. I highly recommend this stuff. It was my first time dying leather and it came out better than I thought it would have. Gave the ole farm piece a new look! Thanks!

I tried this dye and unfortunately was not dark enough for my boots but that was my mistake dye worked well.

Ich habe meinen hellbraunen Sattel mit dem Produkt dunkelbraun gefärbt und bin bisher begeistert. Für den ganzen Sattel habe ich ca 1,5 Flaschen benötigt, die Farbe scheint tief ins Leder einzuziehen. Nachdem ich mit den „Färbevorgang“ fertig war, habe ich den Sattel mit Lederseife gewaschen um überschüssige Farbe zu entfernen und habe den Sattel anschließend gefettet, um das Leder zu pflegen. Den ersten Ritt hat die Farbe bereits überstanden, ohne abzublättern oder abzufärben.
