Why did you choose this product over others?: I like leather bags and dislike zips, which I find break too easily and I can't repair. Straps and thongs may take a little longer to fasten and unfasten but are reliable and even if they do break or snap can be repaired more easily. I have had bad experiences of narrow straps digging in and wanted wider ones. As a supply teacher who usually uses public transport, I like a roomy bag that can take a set of waterproofs as well as the usual (lunch stuff, water bottle, etc.) and occasionally a change of footwear for yucky days or my hoodie or jacket for when it ends up being warmer than expected and I don't want to wear them, so I went for the largest size. Having used it every working day for a month, this bag has met all these needs. It seems well made and solid. It is definitely comfortable. It has easily taken not only my usual basic load but I've been able to stuff a bulky coat in it too! I can't speak to its waterproof quality as I've been fortunate enough to get a lift to and from work most days, avoiding the rain with which the west of Scotland is so familiar. Lastly in terms of my own priorities, several colleagues and even pupils in the school I'm working in just now have commented on what a lovely leather bag I have. This bag cost more than I would usually want to pay for one but I have been entirely happy with it so far and I do think that it will last long enough to have justified the cost. I thoroughly recommend it. I hope that helps someone in their selection, folks.

I was nervous about ordering this rucksack, brown leather for £50? Bound to be rubbish but I couldn't have been more wrong. The leather is thick, the item is well made and a good size. I am really pleased with this rucksack and will be using it when travelling. If I'm being picky, it could do with being slightly wider to balance it out, but once it's softened up and worn in it will be fine. Delivery was not great, the rucksack was folded into a clear plastic bag so you could see the item. That's fine, except when the delivery driver leaves it on your front door step because your out! Thankfully it wasn't nicked. In summary, great leather rucksack for the money.

Very useful lots of pockets good quality

Really disappointed with this on arrival. The bag was mouldy inside and out. Apart from this the bag was made well and of a good quality. Obvious been stored incorrectly and the packaging indicated had already previously been returned

I am very happy with my purchase! the leather is thick and feels strong, the coloraturas is beautiful, plenty of room to put everything I need for the day and still doesn't look bulky. it has plenty of pockets from outside. very fast delivery within less than 24 hours. I found the straps a bit far each other at the top and sometimes can be uncomfortable, maybe that's because they were made for men and I am a woman. they look good on women as well.. I also wish if it had partitions inside for my laptop. it only has one zipped pocket inside. overall it's a great buy!

I both this backpack for a present and it is absolutely perfect for both traveling and school. I like the vintage style and the well-organized set of pockets. Big enough, with great vertical storage that allows you to pack-up a heavy load and to fit a laptop together with other belongings. The size is suitable for a carry-on bag for air travel and it's not much heavy, although looks like it is. The leather is thick, with a nice natural caramel-brown/cognac color. Looks durable, hope it is indeed and will stand the test of time. Excellent value for money. The only drawback is the packaging - the backpack was tightly compressed. I had to remove the packaging, to stuff the backpack tightly and leave it like this for a couple of days so the leather could stretch.

I received the bag just over 2 weeks ago. The most dominant feature was the pristine leather smell but that has been overcome by applying sandalwood conditioner and it has been truly transformed. I also stuffed it with old clothes to maintain its shape. Plan to give it a trial run in 2 weeks time. All in all I’ll say it’s a great asset.
