This is an incredibly effective tea cosy! Keeps a pot of tea warm for a long time and is big enough to serve as a cosy for the coffee pot. Nice looking and easily washed.

Beautiful. Nice and thick, keeps teapot warm for a long time. It is very large and can accommodate large teapots comfortably. However, it also works well with smaller teapots too. The Spode design is a classic and will grace any kitchen.

Very pleased with this tea cosy. Good thickness and keeps the teapot nice and warm. The pattern is very pretty. It is much taller than I was expecting but that's my fault for not measuring correctly.....it is a big cosy!

I read all the reviews for this, but I'm not impressed with the product. I recently got a pretty tea set that I use everyday. I was looking to get a warmer plate to keep the pot warm, but everyone was raving about using a tea cosy. Well, it kept my tea tepid after an hour. Color is bright and beautiful and it fits well over my 4-6 cup teapot. Really wanted it to work. Don't feel like going to the trouble to send it back. So now I still have to find something to keep my tea at an adequate temp for at least 2 hrs. Any suggestions? 3/4/2014. I do so wish to revise my review of this item that I posted earlier today. I gave it a one star and stated I was not impressed.. It is really my bad, and I apologize. On reading the instruction (which I was about to dispose of), , I learned that the teapot will serve me best if if I pre-warm it before adding hot water to brew the tea. This will keep the tea hotter longer. I did not do this prior to using the tea cosy. So once I learned this I prewarmed my pot with hot tap water while I wait for my kettle to heat up the eater for the tea. I brewed my tea, covered it with the cozy and had some 10 mins later. Piping hot as expected. Then I waited an hour before getting my second cup. Still very hot, but not piping hot. Excellent. Two hours later I had my third cup. It was at a very pleasant temperature, not warm or hot. Excellent. Three hours later it was warm, not tepid. Very enjoyable without having to heat up in the microwave. I am thrilled! This is what I'd hoped for all along. I'm so glad that I initially thought it would be too much trouble to return it. Now I can enjoy my tea, and the pretty cozy to keep it warm for me. Please don't hesitate to buy it.

It is beautiful but it is also HUGE! You really do not see by the pic how big it is. It is a gift but I'm sure it will be fine. It is beautifully coloured and made though.
