Mystic Moments | Cupuacu Virgin Butter 5Kg - Pure & Natural Cosmetic Butters Vegan GMO Free

This butter is exactly as described: soft and sweet smelling. This is my first time using it. It melts on contact with the skin and absorbs easily (within ten minutes after massaging it into the skin). I use it on my face and as a leave in hair oil, which is mixed with other oils and butters. My skin is left with a healthy glow and is very soft and dewy to touch! A point of note is that after rinsing my face with cold water, I apply the butter mixed with other natural oils such as kukui or camellia.

I use this to make body lotions and lip balm and the like. I am allergic to tree nuts and Shea butter and sweet almond oil and mango seed butter - they are in practically everything. I am so glad that this is available, it works very well in cosmetic formulations or straight from the tub. It feels exactly like Shea butter and moisturizes the skin very well. I can only give 4 stars however, because this is unrefined and smells strongly. So far I have not been able to find a supplier of deodorized Cupuacu Butter in the UK. The scent is tolerable (kind of like a spoiled chocolate cheesecake) but I would much prefer the deodorized version.

A really lovely quality butter. To me Cupuacu smells a bit like cocoa butter and neem oil mixed together. Sweet and initially attractive but not altogether pleasant lol. Leaves no detectable scent on the skin though. This butter is hard at room temp. It melts easily on contact with skin and a little rubbing, even the coarse grains dissolve too. Lovely melted in to body and hair butter recipes. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

I know everybody in the comments warn me about how small it was. But I was still surprised when I received it! The smell is nice, the quality is nice too. Love it! I used it on my legs and hands and it doesn’t feel too greasy. It goes in the skin nicely and leaves a nice natural smell

Hmmm not to sure of this product. It's not very smooth and seems to leave a grainy texture in DIY products. It does absorb well when you rub it together. The initial smell also smelt like alcohol. My father sniffed it and said it smelt like rum. I haven't had a reaction to it. Its my first time using this butter so I am glad about that. For the price I don't think its worth it. 100g is about 3oz. The container was TINY. Update: The texture that you can see at the bottom of the jar does dissapear after a few hours. As well as this the final product looks grainy in texture. It just's not silky smooth. Sorry for not explaining better. So far my hair does like it. My hair does seem to be moisturised for longer. Bare in mind I am also using other products as well.

Did not like it, unlike Coconut oil, it hardly softens with touch, so terribly difficult to use

I bought it directly from cosmetic butters (not through Amazon) and this product was not good at all. I had used before cupuacu butter by dr Adorable, which was really great. This cupuacu butter smells totally different and the consistency is also totally different (grany not smooth). Would never buy again.
