A Modern Classic for 35mm Shooters
Cinestill 400D has quickly become one of my favorite film stocks. The colors are rich but natural, with a subtle cinematic look that makes everyday scenes feel special. It has excellent dynamic range, handling highlights and shadows really well, so even tricky lighting situations come out looking great. Grain is fine but still has that pleasing film character, and the versatility of 400 ISO makes it perfect for shooting both outdoors and indoors with the right light. It scans beautifully and gives you a lot of flexibility whether you want vibrant tones or a softer look. If you’re looking for a reliable, versatile film that delivers gorgeous results across different conditions, 400D is an absolute winner.
