... the weight of the box, then, the weight of each unit. They are VERY heavy. The baskets themselves appear to be able to withstand a nuclear blast from ten paces, well, maybe twelve paces. They appear very well made of real metal, not "chinese cheese" metal. The runners are of good quality and are adjustable. It was very easy to fit, I just skimmed the instructions to get the minimum height for mounting and used a level and ruler to ensure they were in the right place.The self close works well, the runners are a little stiff to pull out initially but this gives them that quality feel.My only complaint, which is universal on almost everything that needs assembly these days, is the mounting screws. They are made of a soft metal (chinese cheese metal) and the screw head appears not to be a PH1 or PH2 but somewhere inbetween. I couldn't find a screwdriver bit in any of my myriad collection that fit them exactly... Why oh why not add a few pence to the price and add decent PZ2 screws from a decent source? Fortunately there are plenty in the kit so stripping 1 in 7 doesn't matter. (Note to manufactuer - Ask SPAX to make you some!)Overall, this is a fantastic quality product that should last for years.. here's hoping.UPDATE - Yep, they are robust. No issues after 4 years of use. As they hold laundry stuff and cleaning fluids, they get used regularly and have no visible deteriation, run smoothly and are still working. They haven't been subject to that nuclear blast yet, so only time will tell.

HiInstalled these to replace shelves in an under counter cupboard.The only downside I found was that due to the damping mechanism the trays would resist opening but then would release with a jerk causing some of the taller items to topple.Also part of the reason for the toppling was that the items are tall and thin and are resting on the grill which due to spacing was a bit unstable.To get round these issues I turned off the damping and installed mdf bottoms. This seems to have resolved the issues.All I all happy with the units.

We now have 8 of these in our new kitchen larder. Absolutely fabulous, they hold loads of stuff. Much cheaper than those provided by the kitchen suppliers. Our kitchen fitter fixed them in for us whilst he was fitting the kitchen and he thought they were brilliant too. Having said that my husband said he would have sorted them himself again if the e fitter hadn’t had time.
