It's well made and of high quality. **Q: Could you use loose leaf with this without having to strain it?** A: I would think so i.e. should be fine to use loose leaf. But I have not used one myself. **Q: Is there any benefit to an infuser? Would a normal water bottle without one be similar? I just think the infuser is extra to wash up?** A: Don’t buy this product as rubbish ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bottle for great hydration! *by F***Y on 10 August 2017* NB: I bought the old-style version of this bottle before the motivational markers were added and new infuser shape.I initially ordered this bottle in black, but received a blue bottle that had been put in a black box in error. The communication with the company was quick and efficient, and they sent a replacement out, free of charge, ASAP. Very good service!I bought this bottle to encourage myself to drink more during the day at work. I wanted a bottle with a large capacity so that frequent refilling wouldn't be necessary, and with 950ml in this bottle, that gave me exactly what I wanted!The rubber pad on the side of the bottle is really useful, as it makes sure your grip is sturdy when the bottle is full (and therefore heavy!). I only use the attached ring to carry the bottle when it's less than half full, but that seems pretty sturdy too!The seal on the bottle is perfect - it has never once leaked!The cap seals with the outside metal ring for extra security, and the cap is really useful to prevent germs from reaching the mouthpiece.The only small gripe I have is that the elastic band that made the cap spring open has snapped, but that was only after I had used the bottle every day for about 4 months, so it had a good life!Overall, the price is well worth it for a great quality bottle! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend! *by V***A on 16 January 2018* It’s been three days since my bottle arrived and I cannot believe how quickly of a staple it has become in my life, not only am I managing to drink 2-3 litres of water per day, but it feel effortless.Each evening I add a mixture of frozen berries and leave it in the fridge to macerate, it means the first drink of the day is a delicious fruit blend, I can continue to use the bottle reusing the same berries as the day goes on it gets a bit weaker but that is not an issues.As far as the bottle goes, it’s a great design, this is the third water infused bottles I’ve bought and compared to the others this is the first one to not feel cheap. It is made of good sturdy plastic, the little additions for better grip and to lock the cap down are great additions. Even the squaring off of the infuser means that cleaning has become a much easier task.If you are unsure if this is right for you, I hope this review changes your mind, for the price of it, how quickly it was delivered and the quality it is well worth it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ **AMENDED REVIEW** Second bottle perfect - check seal in lid before drinking from. *by A***L on 5 January 2021* *AMENDED REVIEW* After complaining to the supplier a new bottle was sent out to me (within 2 days!!) Absolutely perfect. Now what you have to check on receiving it the rubber deal inside the lid, my second bottle I could see immediately that this was not fitted in the groove. A quick fiddle around and all fitted nicely and no leaks whatsoever. I now just have a quick glance at the lid whenever I fill my bottle up to make sure that it is lying tight and all should be well.Was fine on first day, but has constantly leaked whenever I have used it afterwards.
