Beautiful piece!
This circular moving sand art decor is a fantastic addition to any desk or shelf. When you flip it, the sand flows through the water to create stunning mountain-like landscapes. It’s incredibly mesmerizing and relaxing to watch, making it a perfect stress reliever during a busy day. The quality is excellent, with smooth transitions and no signs of leaks or defects. It feels well-made and durable enough to last with regular use. This piece is ideal for an office desk, where it adds a calming touch, or even on a school shelf to captivate students and visitors alike. Pros: Beautiful and calming visual effect High-quality build Great for desks, offices, or classrooms Cons: None so far! If you’re looking for a unique and relaxing decor piece, this moving sand art is a must-have.

Easy to use Hard to master.
When you first get this you will need to work it a bit to get the sand to break up. Spin it, tilt it, shake it. Eventually it will all break up into a very fine sand. Do not worry about the bubbles, even if they all combine into one once the action is in motion the sand will naturally break it up into smaller bubbles. Your goal is to not let the sand on the sides start falling, as this will cause a cascade and the sand will fall in just a few seconds. Don't fret if you can't get it at first. Once you get it the whole thing is very simple and easy to use. That designs it makes are amazing and you will spend far to much time just staring at the sand falling in little waterfall like patterns. Well worth the price.

If only 20% less air inside it...
I like that this product has seemingly good quality glass, and has some weight to it. The sand colors are complimentary to each other. In a well lit area it can provide an artistic sandscape. It "can", but very hard to manipulate it to do so. The reason is there is simply too much air inside. Half the sediment is held aloft by a frame-to-frame thick ness if bubbles. No matter how much you shake (to make bubbles smaller) inevitably your gonna want more sand to fall. Unfortunately, tapping it it slightly or even a slight rotation flattens the dropped sand. Removing any sharp peaks and valleys you try to create. in other words, the sand above the bubble layer will be stuck their unable to slip past it's defensive perimeter. My room averages 68°f. Perhaps that's too cool for tie water, sand, air medium to function at it's best. Aside from a mechanical outpatient procedure to drill a microscoping hole and extract air via syringe an, a small gauge needle, and epoxy or other sealant .I don't way to alleviate this issue.

Stunning to watch and so much fun to play with!
I was surprised at the high quality of this item and even more surprised it doesn't cost more than it does. I was concerned it would look cheap due to the price but it is actually quite elegant and would be a beautiful addition to any decor. It’s fun to keep turning it and watching the different shapes it makes. The sand moves around the bubbles in order to make the shapes, and you can manipulate where the bubbles go to make it do different things. True, you may need to add/subtract a little air. The more or larger the bubbles, the more slowly it will fall since they create more of an obstacle for the sand to get around (which to me is better since it creates more interesting designs, but that is purely a preference thing). If you do want to add/subtract any air, don't let that intimidate you, it's extremely easy to do and takes seconds.

Fun and mesmerizing
What to do when you're stuck on hold ? .....well, this item provides a relaxing diversion. It really is an fun, interactive piece of "performance art" as you try to manipulate varying patterns. The size is perfect and offers a large "canvas", it is attractive on its stand and the colors of sand are beautiful as they layer. People of all ages love to interact with this and it is very popular with the creative people in our household.

Not a good desk toy.
This thing is awesome, however, it's got way to much air, and way to much sand. The sand piles upto the air bubble line, and stops letting the sand fall. I will be sending this back.

Nice but some small hiccups
It's cool. It's pretty much as described. Watching the sand fall is neat. It has bubbles in the water though which is very unsatisfying to see. On top of that, the bubbles stop the sand from falling too. Hopefully it fixes itself soon. Also the ring around the whole thing is a sticky rubber. I imagine it'll turn very sticky in the short future.
