I’ve tried their echinacea drops before and found them helpful as a preventative, which are now my very needed addition to life, so I thought I’d give this one a go. Ginseng isn’t something I’ve used before, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The flavour is straightforward, not unpleasant or overly sweet if at all, and the bit of alcohol actually makes it easier to take compared to some herbal supplements that end up cloying or bitter. It’s hard to say how quickly it works since these things tend to take time, but I’m approaching it with the thought of supporting general wellbeing rather than looking for some kind of instant effect. The fact that it’s in liquid form makes it simple to take without faffing around with tablets, and I like knowing the ingredients are kept minimal and clean.

A friend recomended Vogal as he has been useing them as a TCM doctor of over 20 years and he is spot on the product is strong and pure and effective, most tinctures tend to be week but thats not the case with this one. an exellent product highly recomended.

I've long been a fan of the Vogel range of tablets and tinctures, ever since I was given some to help with a particular issue. Of the mainstream ginseng types, the Siberian is not actually a true ginseng, more of a cousin and is considered the more gentle, with less of a buzz and more of a longer-acting adaptogen for stress relief. Though I took 40 drops just after lunch I didn't feel an appreciable lift after taking it, but my sleep pattern is definitely better, I fall asleep faster and I'm calmer overall. The bottle lasted longer than expected, too, even at the higher dose.

I’m currently on a health kick and trying to go back to as many of natures natural remedies as possible. I have previous taken Ginseng in the form of a tablet, so I was keen to try the liquid version as I wanted to see if there was a difference. I found taking this not long after getting up does help to wake me up and focus on the day ahead. I also found the liquid version to be a lot more effective than the previous tablet versions I have tried. The dose is 20-30 drops a day which it says you can add to a drink. I can’t say I noticed any taste as I added it to a glass of juice. At 20 drops a day this is approximately 1ml, the bottle is 50ml so you would get 50 days in the bottle which works out at 26p per day based on the current price of £12.99 At 30 drops a day this is approximately 1.5ml, the bottle is 50ml so you would get 33 days in the bottle which works out at 39p per day based on the current price of £12.99 My review is based on my own experience and is NOT to be taken as medical advice, always do your own homework!
