I'm very impressed with this item. I used it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was easy to install and, more importantly, transported my items easily and without incident on a journey of over 3 hours, including fast motorway driving. Then it was easy to take down and store away in its product bag. Great product.

Any person who reviews this product as negative due to reasons stated in the reviews should be disregarded. Fantastic product, I took my kayak on around a 140 mile round trip, at 60-70mph and the Handirack performed brilliantly. There was heavy rain while I was fitting the product, but even still I managed to fit and inflate the racks in around 5 minutes. The racks did allow water to come into the car but it was by no means an internal downpour, the straps simply got wet and this allowed water to go onto the upholstery on the roof, this should easily be shampood out. Despite this I still can not give this a bad review as I actually read other reviews and therefore knew what to expect. I also bought some heavy duty ratchet straps to go with the rack and these proved to be a useful buy, the straps included are a little lightweight but again I read other reviews so I expected this. In all, a fantastic alternative to expensive metal roof bars, they don't take long at all to fit and they go on any car (including my 3 door hatchback, pictured). This is great as I can roll them up and throw them in the back of my kayak and fit them to a 2nd car downstream. I would certainly recommend this product if you either don't have the cash for metal bars, need the versatility to fit to different cars and/or if you're just going to be using them every so often.

Really like it, used it for surf board and didn’t move a budge. Very strong and so easy to use. Only problem I had was when it rained heavily, it soaked through the straps in the car and soaked us😂. Recommend having towels in back seat just incase of weather !

Quality item. Put a triple extension ladder and a roof ladder on the roof of my little van for a one off job. Easy to fit, secure, and good straps included. Did wick some water through the straps into van through the straps, but it was chucking it down at the time, but forgivable for the ease of use. If you only need roof bars once in a while this is a great option. I'll be using it for boards and lenghts of timber going forward.

Since the Ford Puma doesn't have a dedicated roof rack I purchased the universal handirack. Delivered with care opened box saw that it was made of quality materials instructions were easy to follow. Installed on car roof after cleaning fitted easily. As I was doing some d.i.y replacing garden trellis and post's which all fitted on quite easily and fastened using supplied straps plus a few extra. Worked out well since I'm in my seventies.

We had to transport a heavy antique table from London to the Lake District. The journey would take over 5 hours of motorway driving. We were simply amazed that this simple, easy to install (and now easy to store) rack did the job in finest fashion. A very impressive and massively handy and practical project. Some water leakage around the straps due to showers on the journey. We’d read this in reviews prior to purchasing so wrapped towels at the entry points and it did the job. Can’t say how pleased we were with this fantastic product.

The product was fine, and it worked well although I was a bit unsure due to the noise as the straps vibrated causing a droning sound inside the car when you were up to speed. Bought to put a roof box on as our car was gutterless and looked to be a good idea at a good price. The downfall was when it rained. Set up the night before we left, following the instructions and folding up the flaps just incase. I'd read the low starred reviews and seen that the car headlining could get wet. Next morning, went into the car to find the headlining ok, but the seats were wet. The strapping gets wet, the water then works it's way along it then falls on to the seats. Not a door seal issue, a product material issue. Handy product if you don't get rain, unfortunately we had to return ours.

These handibars are very good if: - You don't travel in the heavy rain (read below) - You don't want the expense or limitations of a car specific physical bars - You only intend to carry a ladder, roof bag, or kayak. Size was perfect for our Mk7 Ford Fiesta but would suit smaller or bigger vehicles too. They have a clean fuss free look once fitted. The straps run through your doors and up and over front and back. Benefits are: 1 - You don't have the difficulty of fitting car-specific physical bars (so totally tool free). 2 - super easy to fit (solo job) 3 - fold up and easy to store Downsides are: 1 - if you're tall the straps will interact with your head throughout the journey. 2 - if you travel in wet conditions they will bring water into the car. 3 - increases road noise. A note on wet ingress: We purchased the "wet weather kit" from the handiwork website, it's not available on Amazon. It's only £12 and is essentially a set of sponges that slot between the straps and the doors water seal. These do a great jobs in light-medium rain and short spell of heavy rain. We drove thru a storm for 8+ hours of heavy rain and we got heavy water ingress. We overcame this with towels wrap on the straps at all four entry points. We had to stop and swap the towels at around the 4-5 hour mark. So you'd be fine to take them in the wet so long as you're prepared and I'd definitely recommend the wet weather kit.

Facil de montar. Trae su estuche para guardarlo y su inchador. Se instala con las puertas abiertas para que no pase x la ventana la correa. Ideal es llenar de aire entre el 50 y el 70 por ciento de su capacidad dependiendo del peso de la carga para que al depositar el peso no explote la bolsa de aire y se amolde a la carga. Ideal es combinarlo con amarres de carraca del amazon porque los amarres que trae la bolsa son medianos de longitud y pocos porque son solo dos. No recomiendo mucho peso aunque ponga que aguanta 80kg. Su uso sería para razones ocacionales sobre todo porque ese peso luego lo soporta el techo del coche y al ser de aire las cámaras hay que poner trozos de cartones y cinta para que no dañe la pintura en los espacios que no cubre la baca. Si fuera el fabricante diseñaria un forro del mismo paterial que permita poner y quitarlo a gusto del conductor y se instale entre los espacios de la baca para un uso óptimo y proteja el techo del coche. Está en fase de prueba la resistencia del producto y la durabilidad. Hasta la fecha 5 estrellas pero os mantendré informados. Testado en un seat ibiza

Barres de toit gonflables installées sur une clio pour y mettre un canoé et éventuellement un coffre de toit souple. Efficace, livré avec une pompe à main. Facile d'installation, tient très bien les valises de toit et les canoés ou autres choses. Facile d'installation, le petit bémol serait que pour les personnes ayant un buste haut donc la tête près du ciel de toit, on peut ressentir une gêne éventuelle. Solide, excellent maintien et tension, tenue du gonflage. livré avec des sangles, mais je rajoute toujours mon petit plus, au cas ou. Testé en période ensoleillé, non sous la pluie. Se range facilement et permet de le stocker facilement dans le coffre ou sous le siège si besoin. J'en ai racheté d'autres pour mon autre véhicule. Nous avons roulé à 80/90 km/h sur route et tout se passe bien. Indispensable dans une auto tout comme le chargeur démarreur.

Ik was zeer enthousiast voor de aankoop. Gezocht op auto en merk, kwam deze al snel tegen. Besteld en thuis bekeken. Staat er in de manual dat het product niet gebruikt mag worden met gordijnarbaigs. Dan maar roulette. Product beschrijving is redelijk. Advies is max 18-20 keer pompen. Maar dan nog te zacht. Onderweg, niet harder dan 110 gereden, liggen de twee surfboard goed stabiel. Alleen ziet er naast de oplaadbare kussens een soort metalen pin in het kunststof. Bij mij is de wind eronder gekomen en heeft schade veroorzaakt aan het dak. Duurkoop dus. Beter dakdragers kopen.
