Fischer Quality now comes in a Cigar Size
I love Fischer plugs--there are none better on the market. I must concede that I did not know exactly what "S14" means. I now see that the product description says these are 3" long so that's on me. Even at a smidge longer than I need at the moment, I am still impressed with how solid these are and how each is made to expand into the 9/16's hole and give maximum expansion/ hold power. There just isn't better on the market than Fischer.

Made in Germany
It's hard to find plastic anchors this large at any hardware store. Sometimes it is nice to be able to use this kind of anchor in concrete instead of metal drop-in anchors or having to use epoxy etc. This is good for light/medium forces. These are made of nylon which is a particularly strong and durable type of plastic when used as an anchor. The drill depth for this one is at least 90mm. This is for screw diameter 10-12mm.

Great anchors for masonry
These are large and very thick anchors suitable for concrete, cinderblock or stone. They work very well if you drill a proper sized pilot hole. They leave a clean finish when installed as there's no exposed lip.

The One And Only!
Fischer's are just the best. The basic design of these plugs were invented by the company in 1958. Off course there are other wall anchor solutions of similar concept, design, and straightaway knock offs. In my experience for most of it buying the original simply gets the best results. It's a bit like LEGO and 'compatible' bricks. It's just not the same. I personally prefer using plugs over straight out bolting into the masonry. For that I recommend these a lot. Five stars from me.

The original expansion plug
The box has information on supported materials (concrete, lightweight concrete, solid brick, dense natural stone) and drilling but it's in metric. While I had no issues using closest-matching imperial drillbit and woodscrews (these are recommended - they screwed in OK), it may not be a bad idea to have set of metric drillbits handy if you're going to use these regularly. It's less of an issue with the screws, since 7/16 is within the range of 10-12mm. Holding is well beyond my ability to pull out.

Works great, good quality anchors!
These are rather big, so make sure you are buying the appropriate size for your need. These would work good for LARGE screws and larger purposes, these are probably the largest drywall anchors a person would actually need for regular household use, anything that needs bigger hardware than what this is for is going to need to be mounted in a wood stud. Overall, these are simple and effective drywall anchors, would recommend.
