I love these cutters. I'm an electrician so I use them all day (apart from weekends) They are durable and last a long time I feel that they are good and value, and are my go to as a professional choice.

I bought it for myself as my old cutter is no longer working as it should. This time I decided to test world renowned Knipex brand and I am absolutely delighted with the quality of this Diagonal Cutter. It is sharp and cuts accurately. The grip is soft and ergonomic as well as non slippery. I am very impressed with knipex and will recommend it even for DIY people like myself to invest in quality tools that will last a life time.

Great knippers. However after 17 months of light use* the tip of one of the blades has snapped off. *I use them pretty exclusivly to cut Hotwheel axles which are 0.8 hardened steel which you can see in the pictures. I did make sure to buy nips that could handle up to ~1.5mm hard steel wires, as I saw how quickly these axle can dent a "good" quality side cutter. I tend to use the whole blade as to not wear a certain part and have used the tip a couple times. I must have tried to cut at a weird angle or found a freakily hard axle which snapped/chipped the tip off.

Absolutely solid purchase. Built well, have lasted well and will buy them again if I go through a live wire and blow a hole in them. The 180mm version is also great and gives a bit more leverage for larger cables but these fit my hand nicely.

Nice sharp small cutters.

Der Seitenschneider ist einwandfrei verarbeitet. Alles bestens. Was auffällt: Die Schneiden sind mit einer Korrosiosschutzfarbe überzogen. Beim ersten Einsatz reibt die sich natürlich ab. Im Bild die Zange nach dem allersten Schnitt in einen Zaun-Spanndraht. Die schlechte Qualität die einige wenige Rezensionen hier beklagen kann ich mir nur durch Produktfälschung erklären.
