Ignore the instructions saying you should let the spray evaporate from the surface beforehand. Apply whilst the spray is still wet. In fact it also works well if you spray when the two parts to be glued have been pressed together, that way you can make a perfect alignment first and then spray along the margins.

Hi, the activator is 200ml and the adhesive is 50g.

Q: Would this be suitable for holding a large and heavy wood backed mirror to the wooden post of the dressing table it's fallen from?

Normally there would be a metal bracket on the wooden mirror back, shaped in a V. This the slots into a matching V fixed to the mirror post. Have a look at antique furniture in a salesroom.

Q: Can it be used to fix shoe soles? Thank you in advance.

It dries quite rigid, re attaching a heel probably fine but the sole maybe not as flex required

Best glue for wood I’ve ever used.Amazing bonding strength, dries fast whilst giving you enough time to put it into place.

Only complaint is the nozzle blocks over time.

Love the strength of this glue and fast activator to help set. Not so keen on after a few uses the nozzle gets clogged. Wish there was a pin in the cap made of metal to help keep is open.

Perfect for mitres but also much much more. A thick superglue and activator for so many applications

A very specific product that on the face of it is useful only for certain things but you would be wrong.From the manufacturers website "Mitre Fast Bonding Kit is a two-part instant adhesive system comprising a cyanoacrylate adhesive and aerosol activator".So what we actually have here is 50g of high quality heavy (thick) super glue with a separate spray can of activator. Individually you can pay as much for each component so this bundle is quite frankly a bargain.Unbelievably useful for general DIY and is arguably a must have for any home.
