Cord is too thin and fragile.

The antistatic rubber mat I had ordered only came with one plug and strap. I ordered an additional one so my friend could work on computer projects with me and the plugs fit exactly on the mat as expected. The durable plugs have a secure fit and function well with good grounding for motherboard swaps, CPU upgrades, and display replacements on the laptops we have worked on. Highly recommend!

Seems to do its job The only problem I have with it is that I believe the two plastic prongs on the bottom would be super easy to break and I understand you really can't make those prongs out of metal because then it would electrocute you I think the price is pretty good so value for money is definitely there I wish you had a few more places you could hook up to it not just the snap ways so instead of having two places where you snap into it I wish you could have one other way where you could also just plug in another one durability could be better it's a little hard to plug into an outlet but the main thing I have a problem with is those plastic prongs I am super scared of breaking this thing but for the price is pretty good but you're probably better off buying a different one

Safetly ground yourself when working with electrical components. ESD {electro static discharge} is detrimental to electrical components and it only takes a small charge to build up and there goes your component. Do yourself a favor and get this grounding plug. Simply put it into a grounded socket, connect your esd mat/strap(sold separately), its as east as that. The value in not destroying your tech, is well worth the money.

Band is great.. easy to use. The glitch is the cord … it is the coil type and tight! Have about 4-5 inches of movement before you have to pull against the coil. And the snap connect on band does not fit my other grounding cords .. hoping with use the coil ‘softens’

Very nice to have a safe and stable ground connection to work on delicate electronics to keep them safe from static electricity.

This is a well built grounding point that works beautifully. It is light but still feels solid and well constructed. I anticipate getting many years of service from this device. The documentation in the box was written by a native English speaker and is clear and concise, and it also gives some details about how the device works and protects (as opposed to just a "how to plug it in" guide). Great purchase.
