Morphy Richards Accents 974823 5 Piece Knife Block with High Grade Polished Stainless Steel, Titanium

Bought this knife set for our new kitchen and they are good quality and come in a fairly stylish knife block. All of the knives are nice and sharp and I also bought a knife sharpener to ensure they stay that way. I’ve seen some reviews where people are complaining about the weight of the knives being too light?! Yes, they are quite light but I bought them so I can slice vegetable and cut up meat. I’m not trying to get a sweat on with a workout each time I make dinner. They’re not so light that I think they’re about to snap and I’ve used them on everything from bread to sweet potatoes to meat. All have performed fine. I think they’ll last and, for the price, I’m really pleased. You can spend some obscene amounts of money on knife sets but this one is fine for me and it does what it’s supposed to do. I’ve only given 4 stars for longevity so far, but only because I’ve not had the knife block long enough to say it’s super durable.

Been using for a year now. They look elegant in their holder and there's a good variety of knives included. All used regularly and have remained as sharp as the first use. Durable, comfy to hold and great value for money. Defo recommended as the perfect kitchen aid.

I bought my daughter a new set of knives because she likes to cook and is pretty good at it, but isn't any good at sharpening knives which also applies to her boyfriend. To be fair her old ones were a bit rubbish so I figured like a decent dad, I'd get something a little better, hence this very neat set. The following is her opinion. Really pleased with my new set of Morphy Richards knives. They feel really good quality and after struggling through with old blunt ones for ages it's a relief to be able to cut an onion properly again! They are well made, very sharp out of the box (although I may have to pass over to father for a resharpen when needed) and cover all the basic needs for cutting. The block is perfect for keeping everything neat and tidy - which I really like. Stainless steel which helps for hygiene and general look and the design leaves no gaps or corners to gather muck. Very easy to clean properly. In hand they are comfortable to use with just the right weight to help but not need arms like a body builder to use. Overall a very good, well priced set of knives.

I recently bought the Morphy Richards Accents 46290 5 Piece Knife Block with High Grade Polished Stainless Steel Knives in Black. At first glance, this knife set looks fantastic. The knives are housed in a sleek black block, and the polished stainless steel blades add a touch of elegance to my kitchen. The quality of the knives feels great, with a substantial weight that indicates good craftsmanship. The bread knife and the larger chef knife are very sharp and handle most tasks with ease. However, I have noticed a significant drop in performance with the smaller utility knives. One of them even struggled to cut through a small tomato, which was quite shocking. It’s not what I expected from a set that appears so well-made. The packaging was secure, and the delivery was very fast, which I appreciated. The overall service from the seller was excellent, but I can’t overlook the fact that the smaller knives do not match the sharpness of the larger ones. They generally cut through most things fine, but every now and then, a soft vegetable or fruit presents a challenge. In summary, while the set looks great and feels high-quality, the inconsistent sharpness of the smaller knives is a drawback. Given this, I’m hesitant to recommend this set wholeheartedly or purchase it again.

Really lovely knives, I got them as they are on solid piece of steel but they are very lightweight. They’re very sharp, I cut myself with them on first use obviously being used to blunt knives lol anyway they look good but some reviews say the sharpness doesn’t last but I can’t comment on that yet however I will probably purchase a sharpening tool because with daily use they will blunt overtime regardless

I purchased these for my mum who seems to have an abundance of old knives that are either blunt or broken in one way or another and I felt that I would treat her to a decent set to replace the old ones and also free up some of her kitchens draws space. These are ideal as firstly they are of very high quality, incredibly sharp and sit nicely in their own little rack on the worktop surface. They are also good due to the fact that there are no additional plastic handles etc, so cleaning them is very easy, no little cracked or gaps for dirt and germs to collect. The knives themselves are nice and light in the hand, some find this a negative and prefer a little weight, however for my elderly mum, these are perfect. The base metal base that holds the knives is really nice and compact, takes up very little space as well as looking very smart. The colour stated is Black, however, it is not a deep Black, it is an aluminium Black and I have to say that it looks really smart and is also very easy to keep clean. These are high-quality knives and are nicely made and presented, I would highly recommend these.

I've been wanting to get a decent knife block for some time now and this seems to be of quality. The knifes cut incredibly good compared to my old knife block and it also looks the part. I love the fact that this is all made with stainless steel which offers more durability. The only downside is that the handles of the knives could do with being a little bit more "weighted" they are a little hollow other than that this is a good set of knifes for any kitchen that I would definitely recommend.

Le bloc est plus léger que je ne le pensais mais il me convient, les lames sont à aiguisé. Je suis satisfaite du produit et de la couleur
