Britax make great car seats. This is my second one as I purchased one for my daughter to use and one for our car. It’s easy to fix to the car with the isofix feature. It’s very good quality and will last years

We use this seat as our ‘spare’ which gets moved from dads work van to grandmas car etc because it’s very quick and easy to install. light weight but sturdy. My 5 year old says it’s comfy. Great safety rating therefore good value for money.

I've previously had the Britax Romer Advansafix Pro (an amazing seat), which my wife nicked and put in her car as she gave me her non-ISOFIX seat so my son could sit up front with me - the Graco Nautilus. The Graco seat is very wide due to the armrests and cup holder, has barely any recline, and just wasn't very good for quite a tall boy that is prone to falling asleep in the car after Nursery. The harness has always felt tight on him too, and I'm not too confident in it's ability to become a booster seat with the harness removed. That and my son's head falling foward constantly when sleeping isn't great. So I bought this seat (which is back in the back with the ISOFIX points). My son is currently around 106cm tall, so 6cm above the minimum height for this seat. It's incredibly easy to install. He loves the seat because he considers it his "big boy seat" and will happily climb in, ready to go. Putting the seat belt around him takes no time at all compared to struggling with an ill-fitting harness at his age. It must be comfy, because for a boy who doesn't like to fall asleep and very good at staying awake, he fell asleep at midday on the first day of using it. It's a little inflexible with any sort of recline (depending on the verticality of the rear seat) despite the video showing it being great for leaning backwards. The rear seats in my Mini Clubman are quite vertical, so I was prepared to be disappointed that his head would rock forward if he did fall asleep. For the 20 or so minutes he was asleep in the back, his head did not rock forward once - perhaps it was some kind of black magic, but it definitely surprised me. The other feature i'm happy about - the removable and washable covers look much, much easier to take off than any other seat I've tried. Some seats claim it, but make it a complete pain to take off; this one however, the story is much different.

Really well made and comfortable. A tad expensive

Good price realtively easy to fit. Seem to be holding up well. Previously has a maxi cosi but this did not wear well with my young kids.

Great narrow and safe car seat. Would definitely recommend. We have about 6 of these between our cars and the grandparents cars.

Brutal lo comoda que es de quitar y de poner, y lo ligeras de peso que son. Tengo 3 hijos y he probado y visto algunas de otras marcas y yo no las cambio por ninguna. El sistema isofix es muy comodo y jamas se ha quedado pillado o duro de quitar. Maravilla para padres con logisticas avanzadas! Ja!

Der Sitz wird in grossem Karton fertig montiert geliefert. Man muss nichts erst zusammenbauen. Neueste Norm 129/3. Macht rundum guten Eindruck. Einbau- und Bedienungsanleitung muss man aber per QR oder aus dem Internet laden. Der Einbau ist sehr einfach und mit wenigen Handgriffen erledigt. Die Autositzkopfstütze musste etwas höher gestellt werden. Wenn das Kind grösser ist muss sie dann heraus oder umgedreht eingesetzt werden, sonst liegt der Sitz nicht richtig an der Rückenlehne an. Erfahrungen mit dem Kindertransport werden noch ergänzt. Bisher sind wir 100% zufrieden mit dem Discovery Plus 2. Die Kopfstützenverstellung macht einen stabilen Eindruck. War lt. Warentest anfällig. Mit dem Modell "2" hat man wohl diesen Mangel behoben. Nachtrag: Kind fühlt sich im Sitz wohl. Die obere Gurtführung ist etwas fummelig zu bedienen. Den Gurt muss ich ohne Kind im Sitz jedesmal wieder herausnehmen, sonst klappert beim Fahren die Gurtschnalle am Sitz. Ist mit etwas Übung aber ausreichend gut zu händeln. Die Rückenlehne bewegt sich unangeschnallt etwas vor oder zurück. Ist lt. Hersteller so gewollt um sich an die Autositzlehne anzupassen. Angeschnallt ist dann aber alles ok. Darauf könnte man in der Bedienungsanleitung doch hinweisen! Würde Unsicherheiten und Irritationen vermeiden
