If you want your life to improve - read this!
Another great book from John Bevere - very sound teaching and a real eye opener. This book is for people who really want to get rid of their hang ups, jealousy, offence and become a balanced and baggage-free, on-fire for Christ Christian. Each time I read one of his books, God uses it to explain the very event that occur and why people behave badly! I believe the Lord Jesus Christ uses this man and his ministry through his books to set Christians free to be able to live a life that is powerful, effective, with boldness and authority in Jesus' name. We can have peace, sound mind, love, joy, patience, self-control and all the rest by understanding ourselves and others, choose to think, believe, and behave with godliness and obey the Holy Bible- John Bevere helps us to reach this goal. So simple!

God does not use corrupt leaders!!!!
I have almost if not all of John Bevere’s books and God has really used his books to sharpen the knowledge I received and continue to receive from God Himself through His word - the Bible. The bait of satan is a very good book don’t get me wrong but I do disagree with what he wrote on page 47 about Eli under the sub heading “HOW CAN GOD USE CORRUPT LEADERS”! In my little understanding of the Bible (by Gods mercy) I don’t see Eli as a wicked Priest; rather I see him as a WEAK PARENT who couldn’t correct the wickedness of his children. And he sadly got punished for his weakness- which is a great lesson for us all!

Essential Christian Reading!
A friend loaned me her copy after numerous conversations sprinkled with "you need to read this book called Bate...." Having had a chance to read some of it - it is as recommended! A very helpful tool!

John Bevere's "The Bait of Satan" is a compelling and transformative read that delves deep into the often-hidden snares that hinder our spiritual growth and rob us of genuine peace. With unwavering clarity, Bevere exposes the enemy's cunning tactics, particularly highlighting the destructive power of offense. This book is not merely a warning; it's a practical guide to recognizing and overcoming the traps that keep us from experiencing the fullness of God's blessings. Bevere masterfully uses biblical examples and contemporary illustrations to illuminate the subtle ways offense can manifest, from bitterness and resentment to unforgiveness and pride. He doesn't just identify the problem; he offers concrete solutions rooted in scriptural truth. One of the book's greatest strengths is its emphasis on personal responsibility. Bevere challenges readers to actively participate in their own freedom by choosing forgiveness, releasing bitterness, and walking in humility. He reminds us that while Satan may set the bait, we ultimately have the power to choose whether or not we take it. "The Bait of Satan" is more than just a book; it's a spiritual wake-up call. It's a must-read for anyone seeking deeper intimacy with God and greater freedom in their lives. Whether you're struggling with past hurts or simply desire to walk in greater victory, this book offers profound insights and practical tools to help you break free from the enemy's snares and live a life filled with joy, peace, and purpose.
