Update: I bought this in Setember 2024 and we are now in February 2025 and it is already asking me to change the HEPA filter AGAIN! I clean the the pre filters religiously every 2 weeks, there are no smolers in the house, and this is in a bedroom and is only turned on at night on the low setting. If this is the norm it is going to be very expensive. Or these filters are not genuine. It is falsely advertising that you only need to change the HEPA every 12 months, but this is incorrect. Especially given the conditions in which I keep it. Very disappointed. The machine should be regularly checked / cleaned according to air conditions, such as in pollen seasons, or if there are pets, eventually near roadways where more dust and pollutants circulate. Also the odor filter from the original is quite dense -like there is more material - than the one this replacement.
