SHIMANO Baitrunner DL FB Reels 2500 or 4000 with Spare Spool

had them before if you want a baitrunner you can't beat Shimano.

I've recently started fishing again - after a 17yr gap (due to working overseas). Previously I had used all Shimano Carp gear - including their first series of baitrunner reels - which at the time were superb.This time, I have gone small, light tackle (float/feeder). I bought a cheap rod and reel, to make sure I wanted to start fishing again. Hooked again (pun intended), I upgraded to a new rod and this reel. Everything about it is quality. Sure it's small and not the top of the range (I don't want to go down the super expensive geared route again), but it is a fantastic all round reel - suitable for most coarse fishing. If you are a 3lb test curve guy, waiting for a 30lb lump for days, this is not the reel for you.

Used all Summer for big Barbel has landed 15 fish over 11lb with 2 thirteen and the creme Dr la creme my PB 15lb 3oz delivered before time lovely reel well packaged

Shimano reels have always had a place in my fishing quarry. Reliable reels and well constructed. My first bait runner type so we’ll see how it goes.
