BEAUTYBLVD Glitter Lips, Cruelty Free Lip Kit - Ruby Slippers

Great product for a fun, bold look. Fast delivery. I bought this product through Amazon as I had some vouchers I wanted to use, however I originally found it on the Beauty Boulevard website. For anyone considering ordering this I would strongly recommend having a look on their website as there's a useful video which shows you how to apply the product, dos and do nots whilst wearing and how to remove it. Follow these steps and you won't be dissapointed. It is also a good opportunity to see the product so that you know exactly what to expect, I was not at all disappointed on receiving my small pot of glitter and glue. I can only assume that the customer who left a negative review had overly high expectations of the product. Excellent staying power and really good pigment which creates a bold statement lip. Was able to eat, drink, change clothes and kiss my husband without loosing one grain of glitter. The glue is no more drying than if you were to wear a matte lipstick or stain all day, apply a rich lip balm after use if you want to restore any loss of moisture. Slightly unusual feeling at first as it is loose glitter but in no way uncomfortable, you get use to it in minutes. If you're not a huge makeup fan and would never consider wearing false eyelashes because you don't like the feel then this may not be the product for you. If you're a lipstick lover like me who wants to up their game a notch then this is a great product and I would highly recommend.

Gorgeous item . Looks good on & lasted almost 6hrs before re-applying

Packaging wasn't good. Also the product isn't that easy to use. It looks good once it's on but feels strange once applied. It doesn't feel anything like a lipstick or lip stain. Probably due to the glitter. It's ok if you are going for a different look say for one evening but beware this isn't for wall flowers....... It's very in your face.....

I put this on and it looked stunning, but lasted about half an hr, before it started to peel off and fall into my Mouth and stick o my teeth in gluey gloops! Unfortunately had to use this to find out how awful it is, so can't return DO not waste your money

It's wonderful it's not as in your face as you would think so you don't feel that silly wearing it. It's comfier to wear than some lipsticks it feels odd and not at all smooth but it is comfortable to wear. The glitter itself is not itchy or sharp like I was expecting (it's glitter I didn't have high hopes in terms of comfort). the staying power is amazing there is no transfer what so ever! However be careful don't apply too deep on the lips as once wet from closing my mouth it began to peel from this area like snake skin but even maybaline 24 hour stay does that so should of expected that. however when drinking it does not peel or transfer. The colour I was disappointed with but it was my own fault I was looking at a bad quality photo and assumed the Amazon photo wouldn't be close to the colour but it is it is exactly that colour and it just does not suite me it's not the products fault I should of looked at more photos. It's a beautiful colour just not on me it's too pink the colour I bought was molly dolly. Delivery well I ordered it late last night and it was here by this morning I was shocked at how quick it was (amazon student prime, definitely worth the free trial if I had more money I would definitely pay monthly for it as I buy a fair bit off amazon when I'm not a poor student I am definitely getting amazon prime.) the box was a bit battered but nothing major. I feel its a little bit over priced but I do understand it costs more than glue and glitter as its been specifically designed for your lips so it is not toxic and once dry your lips don't stick together. the glitter is a lot softer than normal glitter as well I know that sounds odd but like I said its not scratchy it is a tiny bit odd feeling but it is comfy.

This looks so stunning on. The 'glue' is really easy to apply and because the glitter only sticks to the glue, it is easy to apply neatly and without making a mess and/or getting glitter all around the lips. I would highly recommend this product by this company (the originals!) as I have purchased some other glitter lip product from a seller on here which was a lot cheaper. The glue used in the cheap ones is actually PVA glue (I shit you not) and peels off just how PVA does on your hands! Terrible!! Also, you can lick your lips when the glitter has dried...they just feel a bit strange...but it isn't uncomfortable at all. I wore this colour on a night out and it stayed put for a good 5 hours. I did drink through a straw too, so that would have helped massively. It's also really easy to take off - I just use baby wipes for removing makeup and so if you scrub your lips with a wipe, it makes it easy to peel/flake off.

I bought this for a "bling" themed party. First impressions were that it would be fabulous as it is incredibly glittery. I did always wonder how it actually worked, and Oh boy did I find out. The liquid turned into a sticky glue-like substance that the glitter adhered to - the glitter went EVERYWHERE and it didn't stick very well, so I had to apply more of the gunky gel-glue! Once I finished the effect was indeed VERY glittery, but as the evening wore on, the glue became "unstuck" and slowly peeled from my lips! I ate most of it!! Awful - wouldn't get it again!!

This stuff is amazing It genuinely lasts all night I have a few in dif colours Shame they don’t sell the glue seperate as that dries up way before you run out of glitter The glue does smell quite rank when you open it but it works brilliant and the smell disappears quickly

I was worried that I would end up eating all the glitter or it would be in my mouth and teeth all night but nope! It was easy to put on. I followed the instructions and this stuff didn’t budge! I made sure it was completely set/dry before moving my lips too much. Once it was dry there was absolutely no fall out. I could eat and drink and none of it came off. I didn’t have any in my mouth. It’s pretty and sparkly. Different, I wasn’t used to the look but my husband really liked it lol. I ordered coral and gold. I’ve only tried the coral. I slept with it on and it was still perfect the next day lol. I took a shower and tried to wash it off but it stayed on. I washed my face and it only came off a little bit. I was very impressed. Still no fall out, it looked almost perfect lol!! After my shower I easily took it off with a makeup remover wipe. I would definitely recommend this product. Diese Glitzerlippen sind der Wahnsinn! Ich liebe Sie. In der Sonne sind diese Glitzerlippen einfach Mega!! Ich bin absolut begeistert und positiv überrascht. Meine Glitzerlippen habe ich 6 Stunden getragen: Und ich habe auch ganz normal getrunken - ohne Glitzerverlust! Lediglich Ölhaltiges löst den Glitzer/ Lippenkleber. Es ist kein Lipgloss. Dieses Produkt kommt in drei Teilen: Glitzer-Dose, Pinsel und Lippenkleber. Den Lippenkleber trägt man wie ein Lipgloss auf, ABER weniger ist hier mehr. Er riecht anfangs etwas stark aber das verzieht sich schnell. Danach tupft man den Glitzer mithilfe des Pinsels auf die Lippen. Der Effekt ist der HAMMER!!! Man hat Lippen wie Olivis Jones. Preis-Leistung einfach Top. Ich bestelle mir definitiv noch mehr Farben.
