My first mechanical keyboard. Quality is great and all worked straight away.

I've had a few mechanical keyboards in the past and the TH96 is my favourite. Nicely shaped keys and a nice clack from the flamingo keyswitches make for a great keyboard. Switches easily, and reliably, between wired and wireless. Has to be woken up when you come to log back on to a sleeping machine which can mean it misses the first few characters of your password. You get used to that.For coding I'd have liked END and HOME keys but these can be recreated by turning numlock off.

The keyboard broke after 10 months (USB surge error when plugging into any laptop of desktop PC). I had to find a contact email address who sent me in the direction of a customer service worker. I explained the issue to them and they replied back with 4 things to try and see what was wrong with the keyboard (did a different USB port work - no, did a different cable work - no, try resetting the keyboard by pressing FN + Esc - did not work, check the port for damage - no damage as never unplug or move the keyboard, and nothing visible when checked. I replied back to this email twice (on the same day and 10 days later) and it is now nearly a month since their email asking me to try these 4 things and they have not responded. Do not recommend, absolute waste of money and terrible customer service.

Feels substantial there are some keys on the keyboard supplied that look a little unusual and the backslash key on the left side doesn’t work as a backslash. I haven’t worked out what I have to do to make this happen yet otherwise I am very happy with it.
