I don't normally leave product reviews, simply because I don't have a lot more to add than 100 people have already said. I feel it important to review this product because of the vast price variation on matcha throughout the market and this could possibly save someone a lot of money. I've tried quite a few different brands of matcha, many of which are 3 and more times the price of this brand. I have to say, this is just as good as any of the expensive leading brands. The few people who have left bad reviews are obviously inexperienced with matcha and how to prepare it. So it's not this brand they have a problem with, it's matcha in general. I don't think I've seen a better bargain on this quantity of matcha anywhere. There's a lot in the pack for your money. I tastes exactly the same as all of the leading, expensive brands, it does exactly the same job and it mixes exactly the same. Take a teaspoon of the powder, a little more or less depending on how strong you want it to be, put it in a large mug, add a drop of cold water and then stir it around into a paste. From there, my personal preference is to add in a squeeze of honey. You can use a different sweetener or none at all. Once you've got your paste, then you need to decide what you're going to fill the mug with. I use a little milk and water mixed together. Use that, just water, just milk, a milk substitute, whatever. Now heat your filler to warm, just below hot. Gradually add that to the paste, stirring as you go. This is the method I use and this product makes the perfect mug of matcha. I adore coffee but I've been using this for a few weeks now and I haven't had a single cup of coffee and this one mug in the morning provides energy throughout the day. And I think it tastes great. This brand has saved me a lot of money, it's exactly the same as any other matcha and hopefully it'll save you a lot of money also.

The powder has a really smooth, fresh taste that isn’t overly bitter like some others I’ve tried. It whisks up well without leaving clumps, and I’ve found it works just as well in my smoothies and baking as it does for straight drinking.

Drinking to help lower cholesterol and boost metabolism. Nice enough to have on subscription and good value. The taste is mild but it doesn’t fully dissolve so I keep a spoon in my mug to stir it before sipping. Couldn’t see the instructions on the packet so Google said to use 1/2 tsp. in 80°c water. I thought I needed to cool the water from the kettle first but have since found my kettle water comes out between around 65°-84° anyway - I thought my thermometer was faulty but apparently this is normal and only the water that is close to the element in the kettle reaches boiling point. So I pour straight from the kettle without worrying about destroying any nutrients in the matcha.

Always amazing. A great go-to daily matcha. My favorite. Perfect with oat milk iced. Smells lovely, texture of drink is always creamy and lush. Lasts long. I believe it boosts my energy AND my mood. Highly recommend doing the “subscribe and save”. Literally just about filled a Kellys ice cream tub! (200g)

This is my first purchase of Japanese Organic Matcha, which I purchased based on positive Amazon reviews. First impressions. Nicely packaged but couldn't find any instructions. A quick sniff of the contents, it smelt like lawn grass. One customer review recommended a small teaspoon per mug of tea, otherwise a larger quantity may taste bitter. I used 1 coffee spoon of powder to a glass infuser mug. It had a grass-green appearance when dissolved in hot water. The taste wasn't unpleasant, but neither was it appetising. I added a quarter teaspoon of honey, which definitely made the Matcha more palatable. (I shall try mixing the Matcha with other food combinations, beginning with my morning Herbalife shake). Within a few minutes of drinking the Matcha tea, I did notice that it had a pleasant relaxing effect. So, I will continue drinking Matcha for its benefits, but not for it's taste. In the same way that I would take prescibed medication. Flavour is secondary to medicinal benefit.

The powder made a good matcha it tasted nice but it made me VERY gassy . I had it on multiple occasions and it did the same thing was definitely caused by the powder . I have since switched back to perfect ted matcha

Overall, this Matcha has been a fantastic addition to my life - healthy, energising, versatile, and long-lasting. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a natural, beneficial alternative to coffee.
