My old key fobs (2015 equinox) were in such bad shape the boards were exposed and started causing issues with my battery and the alarm would randomly go off. Took these 2 fobs to Ace and had them cut. They worked perfectly and were seriously easy to program. This saved so much money compared to having to go through a dealership!

Hardest part was finding a locksmith to cut the blanks at a reasonable price. Great design. Same size as the original. The spring loaded button is firm and pops the key out no problem. It has a very satisfying click when done. Worked on a 2012 Equinox LT . Local locksmith cut it for $20 per key so for 2 keys it cost me a total of $62 which is still a fraction of what a dealer would want 10/10

Just purchased this key fob and it works great. The setup was good. I was able to take it to the locksmith, and have him cut the lock. The only thing or only problem that I have is that the hole that you put a ring through is too narrow. And when you put the wrong size in there cuz, you don't want to put a cheesy or cheap one through the hoop. Because you want to make sure you secure it. It comes apart, it separates and it separates very easily to the point where if you're not careful, the spring and the flip up mechanism for where the key is place. That will separate, so buy us beware. The key fob works, it's a good deal. That was the only problem I had with. It was that it's it does separate very easily. So I wind up having to put tape on the side, not to make it look too bad.N

I normally do not write reviews for anything so the fact that I am you know this product is good, no great! I had the keys cut for $10 a piece at the local hardware store. They then program crazy easily. You literally start the car with the old key and then turn the engine off. Next, you turn the new key to ON in the ignition without starting the car and wait for the security light to go off (took 5 seconds for my 2013 Chevy Equinox). You can then start the car and the program is magically all programmed. All of the buttons worked instantly. I don't understand how it can do it that easily and quickly but it works perfectly. $25 for two keys, $20 total to cut them, $45 total. It would have cost $300-$400 to replace these two key fobs commercially. The value and compatibility were amazing. Thank you Amazon!!!
