I’ve been a fan of this brand for a while. Their sunscreen is absolutely amazing. These lip balms are no exception! I usually hate any lip color with SPF because they Wash me out, dry my lips, and wear off oddly, even the clear ones. I took a chance on the Cay because I love their sunscreen so much. I saw a few reviews before purchasing saying that people had issues with the applicator on the older packaging. I was glad that I received the upgraded balms. Each color, from lightest to darkest, worked on me. They feel just as buttery and smooth as balms such as summer Fridays, glossier, or laneige. They are incredibly moisturizing, easy to reapply, smell like vanilla, have zero white cast, and last a bit longer on the lips than the balms I mentioned above. I’m guessing that the addition of SPF gives them more grip. They fade away evenly, no weird splotches of dry crusty lips at all, and the formula is not sticky; there’s a little bit of a cushiony feeling. I wear them everyday with and without liner. I purchased a few for my family and got myself a clear one as well. I will 100% repurchase these. So happy to find sun protection for the sensitive skin on my lips that is actually a pleasure to wear.

This lip gloss is long-lasting, smells great, and has the perfect amount of tint that looks great on its own or over lip color for a shiny finish. I love wearing it day or night, but especially love that it has SPF since most lip glosses don't. I used to buy Summer Fridays but will be sticking with Cay both for the SPF and because it's awesome in every other way. Highly recommend!

This product feels exactly like the Rhode lip treatment, in terms of the viscosity and texture. It has a thick occlusive glossy formula that’s very nice and the hydration lasts very long, it doesn’t rub off. I absolutely love this formula and the fact that it has spf AND its water resistant spf. I am unfortunately allergic to an ingredient in this lip balm, but I have very very sensitive eczema prone skin. I don’t want my personal allergy to discourage anyone from trying this product because it’s so so so good. I also apply this over my lip liners and other lip stains and it works extremely well with other products. This is so beautifully cosmetically formulated. Best spf lip balm/ lip balm in general that I’ve ever tried, and I’m very very very picky. Also side note: I saw reviews about the applicator not working overtime but to my knowledge they fixed that issue. The one I received did not have any issues with the applicator and the applicator looked different than the past photos from reviews. Love a brand that listens to feedback and acts on it!

I’m obsessed with this lip balm! The shine is stunning without being sticky, and the Cocoa Cabana shade adds the perfect warm tint—it smells amazing and feels like a treat every time I apply it. It keeps my lips hydrated, soft, and smooth no matter the weather. The SPF 30 is a major bonus—sun protection and cute lips? Count me in! The formula is lightweight, feels luxurious, and layers beautifully over other lip colors or looks gorgeous on its own. A little goes a long way. This lip balm is everything I did not know I needed. I got the shade Irie Rose and it is absolutely beautiful. The color is soft and natural with just the right amount of tint to enhance my lips without being too bold. It feels more like a nourishing gloss than a typical balm and adds such a pretty glow. From the first application, I was hooked. It glides on smoothly, feels lightweight, and gives a glossy finish that does not feel sticky. My lips feel soft, hydrated, and protected. I also love that it has SPF 30. It is rare to find a lip product that combines color, shine, and sun protection all in one without compromising on comfort. One of the best surprises is that this product is HSA eligible. I was not expecting that, but it makes me feel even better about the purchase knowing I can use my health savings account to restock. That alone makes it a standout for anyone trying to make smart beauty purchases that still feel like a treat. Overall, I absolutely love this balm. It is already a staple in my bag and part of my everyday routine. Between the gorgeous color, the SPF protection, and the fact that it is HSA eligible, I truly cannot recommend it enough.

Hydrating and a great color with no chalkiness from the SPF, so I originally thought it would be my new go-to lip color... but something about the cut & size of the hole in the applicator meant that I could never get the right amount of product to dispense when I squeezed the tube. It was incredibly frustrating, and I probably won't buy again unless there has been a packaging redesign. However, it's totally possible that people with better fine motor control than me don't have this problem, so if you are on a serious hunt for tinted SPF, this may be worth a shot.

Tastes yummy and looks shiny, but neutral on my lips. The gloss is thick but not overly sticky. Not only is it protective, but looks gorgeous on.

It’s soft , it’s keeps your lips at a nice glossy look, wearable for maybe 2 hours tops before reapplying more.
