Vinyl Leather and Vinyl Repair Kit

I have an old pair of Clarks shoes with vinyl that had gone through at both of my big toes. I was loathe to thrown them out because they are so comfortable, but I didn't think they were repairable. I looked online as a last resort, and found a selection of kits for repairing vinyl. I took a chance on this one, and was surprised at just how good it is. Mixing the colours correctly is a little tricky, but I got it fairly close. The results are amazing. Both shoes are now wearable without my toes poking through! The only thing I would suggest is that when you apply a patch of the material supplied with the kit to the inside of your shoes you use some contact adhesive to hold it on.

Easy to use, but not that good once dry.

Didn’t work for me. Couldn’t get the grain transfer to work and the repair compound was too shiny for my item. Tried the repair 5/6 times but failed and am now taking it to a professional. Think if the item is flat and has very little grain and a standard shiny finish you might be ok. Anything else, good luck!!!

I bought a secondhand designer leather bag and when it arrived it was absolutely battered and I was devastated. I was going to throw it, but decided to give this ago. It’s literally made the bag look like new. I was so happy I could have cried 🤣 within an hour I was done! So easy to use.

Did exactly what it said on the box excellent coverage and tough and good blending with original colour

Ok but no easy to use

Have bought this twice now and used it to restore worn black leather on two different cars. Would give 5/5 if they gave more black (as most of the leather in the world is this colour!). TIP: Mix with a little water and apply in layers to help blend, then finish with leather balm (I use auto glym) and shoe polish (kiwis).
