Nice book with of lots of interesting alphabetically listed information. Bought it for my son (11) who is mythology mad, but in my opinion this book is more for adults as the level of the explanatory is quite advanced.

Really pleased! I brought for my husband who loves the mythology stories. As a fan of Tv shows, The Vikings and movies like Clash of the Titans it was a good buy. Book is hardback, with an A to Z of Gods. Great Illustrations.

This isn't an indepth book on mythology, more of a reference book than anything else. It's a great intro in the subject however.

Very much a reference book rather than something you’d read from start to finish. If you’re a bit of a pop historian like me, for whom copious amounts of detail become boring very quickly, then you’d be better off buying a book which tells the stories rather than lists the characters etc. It’s probably easier to understand their significance if they’re in the context of a story.

I am very pleased with this item. The author covered the main mythology, with detailed and well-researched entries and texts. Images are beautiful and this kind of books usually serves several generations in one go - not to miss!

Beautifully presented and illustrated book, covering everything anyone would want to learn about Mythology. Purchased for a granddaughter, but everyone else wanted a browse through it too!

Glad i go this i keep it close at hand it's a delight to flick through, everything you could possibly need to know about norse, roman and greek myths and legends.

Great illustrations of wonderful paintings and clear concise explanations of the mythological stories. I love to browse through as well as read thoroughly. An excellent aid to the imaginative delight of myths.

I couldn't be happier with this book so far. Excellent, high quality images, thorough content and research. I couldn't recommend buying this more.
