Nice camera but drains batteries real fast.
Nice camera, decent features. It does really drain batteries so I recommend getting rechargeable AA batteries like a couple setsif you plan to shoot a lot or for more than an hour or two. I bought mine used but other than the box being messed up the camera was in good shape.

Intermediate level of Photography
Honestly I was hesitant to buy this camera however after tonight I don't regret my choice. Its easy to use even without the instructions and if you're like me by chance if you're playing around with it you will understand it faster than you would reading the instructions. It take 4 double A batteries and they drain slowly even if you use the flash. The camera itself is durable and the image quality is phenomenal. The speed at which it processes the photos is surprisingly fast as well. It only came with a strap to go around your wrist, a lens cap and neck strap. All in all this is a really great camera although I do feel it taking batteries is a little old school and should be more modern with a battery pack and c-plug charger that doesn't take away from the fact its a great camera. I highly recommend for those getting until intermediate levels of photography.

Lightweight Point and Shoot
While this camera is not of the same quality as my old Nikon, it will do in a pinch. It was inexpensive for one, lightweight, has a good grip to hold, quick response and quieter than the Nikon. It's a good camera if you're just knocking around hiking like I am when I use it. It is not professional quality IMHO. I used to work for Kodak a long time ago and know what professional work should look like. Anyway, this camera is a kind of pinch-hitter for me while I'm on a budget. It will do, but meanwhile I'm saving up for a new Nikon...

Great value and good functionality!
I love this camera! I purchased this to take pictures on my vacation. I do have an expensive DSLR, but did not want to carry around all of that gear. This Kodak is lightweight, easy to use and takes great pictures. The zoom is amazing! The battery life is good (I am using rechargeable). There is a lot of functionality to the camera is you want to experiment of take specialty pics. The color accuracy is superb! I did have an issue with the camera I received from Amazon, but I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new one fairly quickly.

DON'T BUY THIS CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This camera is terrible in every aspect and design, to get the SD card out you have to open the battery compartment, which when doing so you loose all the settings as in date and time on the camera and you have to completely reset everything. If you use the cord to download the pictures to your computer instead of taking out the card it drains the batteries very quickly. Even when not using the cord to download, the batteries drain very quickly, it's such an issue that it's one of the trouble shooting things that they have listed with this camera. There solution is to shut off any apps or things on the camera you're not using, tells you to turn down the brightness of the screen. Really your solution to this problem is to disable features that are on this camera, what's the point of having those features if when using them they drain the batteries very quickly. Let me explain what I use this camera for, to take pictures of items I sell on line. I put in a new set of energizer batteries, tested them with my ohm/volt tester, they tested 1.58 volts. I took 17 pictures downloaded them by using the cord and then I took 10 more pictures and the camera shut off and right before it did it said batteries expired. So I took the batteries out and tested them and they tested 1.28 volts, which will make most things still run, like my game cameras. There's definitely an issue with these cameras and the power they use and how fast they drain batteries. I've also have had it lock up and stop working several times and it wouldn't shut off or do anything, had to open up the battery compartment which takes all the power from the camera so it will reset and then close it and then turn it back on. I had a Sony Cyber shot which they don't make anymore, for over 10 years and I took literally thousands of pictures with it and it cost half as much and the pictures were clearer and of higher quality than what this camera is capable of taking. I would still be using the Sony, but some how it developed a gray spot that was showing up in all of my pictures and it was causing potential buyers to ask what that spot was on the item. So I had to stop using it and bought this camera thinking it would work great for what I was doing and also work great for taking pictures of nature and wildlife. I wish I would have sent it back right away, but I figured I would give it a chance to get better, because they said it would if I did the update. Well it's only gotten worse with time instead of better.

Maybe i could ignore the rest of the camera would startup in a decent timeframe
Well it has a decent zoom, that's about the extent of it, any motion is blurry and focusing isn't it's strong suit but for $200 bucks what's not to love? Well my current issue is that it takes 5+ minutes to start up and I got this for wildlife photography so it's either leave it on the whole time or wait for it to start and hope your subject doesn't leave, I missed 3 great pictures before I ran out two sets of batteries so back to Amazon it goes!

Okay camera for most uses
The camera is okay and takes good pictures. I use a camera every day for inspections and this is an okay camera for most uses, but not every day. The battery life is short and it takes 4 AA batteries. I did not look at the description very thoroughly as I thought I was purchasing a camera with a rechargeable battery. The camera is easy to use and it is small. I think the batteries add a bit of weight, so it is a bit heavy. The selections buttons and menu controls on this and most cameras are placed where they are always getting accidentally pushed especially when the camera is used one-handed. I wish the design for this would change. For me, having them on the left side of the screen would be much better.
