Smaller eye relief but still easy to sight in.
The eye relief is smaller than the Juliet 3x but still sits comfortably, optic glass is perfectly clear and really crisps up the image for these old eyes at 50+ yards. Wonderful value for the product, people just need to be more mindful of placement on the rail. My chin rested comfortably on the stock while sighting in. Glad I bought it. Sights in great with romeo 5 RDS. I have the juliet 3x as well, and while the eye relief is slightly better it is negligible if youve shot with these before.

Works as advertised!
Not sure what all the bad reviews are for as this magnifyer works great for its price range.Paired amazingly well with my Romeo 5 withput having to adjust anything. To those who haven't done their homework, the eye relief is short, but to be expected. The clarity is good, and, at least for me, I've had no problems with my red dot blurring.Installs easily and has enough room for a rear backup sight to fit underneath.

Very impressed!
Incredible product in spite of being manufactured in China. Then again what isn't! You have some comfort in knowing that it was designed here in the USA.Moving along this magnifier came ready to mount and use. I didn't touch the elevation or windage. I was surprised about that. The optics are outstanding. Eye relief was on point. No trouble at all. Maybe I just got lucky. Accuracy, is scary to say the least. Not a con for me but, it is a bit heavy. In the end is about materials used so is something to be expected. In my case it was counter weight which help balance the rifle. In all honesty this magnifier felt like plug a play.

Decent
Decent little magnifier, two main issues though. First, the eye relief is very poor as the unit is not very long, so it sits close to the charging handle. This can make it difficult to get a good, clear sight picture unless you cram your head forward on your stock/brace. Second, the attachment mechanism is not great, and this does not come with the powercam attachment like most of the other Juliet lineup. This can be purchased for about $100 thru Sig, but just an FYI as the stock screw mount is not as secure as the powercam and can present issues with easily accessing the charging handle. Otherwise, good quality as expected from Sig.

same size and very similar eye relief to the 3x version
I've been running a Juliet3 for a while now and just wanted a little more magnification as my eyes get older. The Juliet5 is functionally the same size and has close enough eye relief to the Juliet3 that it could sit in the same place on the rail.Had a few people try it back-to-back with the Julet3 and everyone agreed it was a worthwhile upgrade.Field of view is noticeably smaller as you would expect, but the trade-off for the extra magnification is worth it

Awesome Magnifier for the Price
This is a great 5X magnifier for the price. The eye relief is close but manageable and the eyebox alignment is relatively forgiving. The mount is robust with several options for mounting height to best match your red dot/reflex/holo sight for a good cowitness. I think you would need to spend a LOT more for something incrementally better.

Needs some work before I'd recommend
Ended up returning this optic. First off, the packaging, look and feel of the optic was great. I thought the glass was clear, the reduced weight compared to a normal magnifier was nice, and even the eye relief was surprisingly okay all things considered. What really was a deal breaker was I could not get my red dot focused and I have a sig romeo 5. It would show as a dash whether I maxed out the diopter either way. It's almost like the diopter needed more adjustment or something. I tried with several mounts including OEM and lower 1/3rd. Spent the better part of 3 hours making several adjustments and still couldnt get the red dot focused. I was pretty bummed because I was excited to have a 5x magnifier. I think Sig needs to go back to the drawing board with this optic and do some more testing. They are halfway there to a great product but a dashed red dot just isn't satisfactory to me. I have a 3x tacticon magnifier, you can tell the quality difference between the two, sig being higher quality, but at least the tacticon gives me a solid dot. Not being 100% satisfied with magnifiers in general, I broke down and decided to buy a vortex strike eagle 1x-8x LPVO. I have astigmatism so that might be the best option. Regardless with or without corrected vision the juliet would not show a solid dot. Even my wife with perfect (lasik) vision confirmed the juliet5 made the red dot blurry no matter how you adjusted it. I don't want to knock Sig down too much because I like their products but the juliet5 needs some work for sure. Start by doubling the diopter adjustability in both directions and test it with the romeo 5. It could have been a dud that I received but I decided I'm done with magnifiers. They just seem more trouble than what they are worth. The LPVOs are a better option in my opinion, especially if you have astigmatism.
