Hakubaku Authentic Japanese Ramen Noodles (Variety, 6 PACK)

Great tasting Ramen. Soft noodles rather than dried ones you usually get. Have already ordered it agsin.

This ramen is fine but I don't like it as much as the typical "fried" noodle type. It has a more healthy, fresh taste compared to fried ramens. -The soup flavor is chicken-soupy and neutral which complements pretty much any extras you add. It's easy to add an egg to make an egg-drop soup. I thought the soup strength and flavor to be good overall. -The noodles are bland in flavor despite cooking in the soup. They are a soft, "fresh" noodle so they have a nice chewy texture if that's what you want but I prefer the fried noodle ramen for both the texture and the flavor.

The noodles are soft, good taste, a lot like fresh. The season pack[note just one], are weak and artificial in flavor. The SECOND PACK is not seasoning but a humidity pack of some sort and not for consumption. I made the mistake of using it in the soup my first time and wondered why it didn't dissolve and tasted bad, avoid my mistake.

First and foremost, the noodles were delicious and at a good price, secondly a wonderful variety of authentic flavors with each package of fantastic seasoning. Honestly, I did not have to add anything, however so good with a fresh egg ((if you can splurge) and fresh baby spinach, ,,,it was delicious and an unbelievable culinary ramen experience.

Arrive today looks good

I started buying Hakubaku ramen kits on the advice of a Japanese friend when we moved to an area without any Japanese restaurants or markets - approximately 2019. As late as 2021, they were still selling the Hakubaku Fresh Ramen Tonkotsu Pork Flavor, 9.7 ounce (for 2 people per pack) and it was pretty darned good. That disappeared, I will never understand why. Suddenly, we could only get the brown paper bag (seriously) with 4 servings each, and that's kind of useless for a family of two. Now, this trio is their substitute for the original ramen kits we bought in 2021, and there's no comparison. Watery, boring noodles, super-salty, and nothing approaching the quality we used to expect. I don't know what's going on with the company but, with regrets, I highly do not recommend this product any longer.

This is by far the absolute best ramen on the market. The noodles are ACTUALLY fresh, the portions are large, and the flavors are amazing. These are absolutely worth the money.
