What a great idea for teaching scissor skills! The beginning of the book starts out with simple lines to cut; I wish there were more of these pages. After those pages are simple shapes--circle, triangle, square oval--followed by objects that have those shapes as well. Those are followed by pages of items that are a little more challenging - a car, a birdhouse, an apple, and various animals. Very simple pictures with wide borders to follow when cutting out the objects. I'm excited to see our little one progress through this book so she is confident and comfortable when using scissors. We are still at the very beginning of the book. We made copies of these first several pages because our little one, at age 3, can benefit from more practice with these simple cuts before moving on to other shapes. The pages are full size, 8 1/2 x 11 and the shapes are all fun things our little one will enjoy coloring and then cutting out. Very happy with this product.

This preschool activity book is a must for any home with a preschooler! It provides ample opportunit for scissor cutting skills and is great quality and excellent gift for any child! The pages are just right size and the functionality is good too!

I purchased this for my two preschoolers, ages 3 and 4, and they love it. It is great for working cutting and practicing using scissors for the first time. My only complaint is I wish the pages were perforated and made of thicker paper for easier use. I think this book would be better in a spiral notebook as compared to the regular binding. But overall, it still does the job and helps your little one practice basic cutting skills.

Highly recommend for a summer bridge activity for a preschooler. My son loves this book.

A coloring and cutting book. Recommend cutting pages out, make copies for future use. Otherwise its a one and done book. Several pages, lots of stuff to cut out on each page. Great for scissor practive.

Bought this for my 4 year old to work on her scissor cutting skills. Come to find out my name is on every page so she thinks that’s funny as hell and loves to tell me each time she cuts something out.

I didn't think I would like my kids having these because I wasn't keen on encouraging them to cut up books but the book went down quite well and my son has definitely not started cutting up his other books which is excellent! The only down side is he likes to cut the pictures out first and THEN colour them in which means he colours to the edges and all over the table. I can't really complain because its great that its entertaining for them.
