So far this item is very easy to use and does a great job at breaking down the coffee clumps! 10/10 for the price and quality.

The media could not be loaded. It really does help break the clumps apart. Super tiny which makes it fit good in my drawer in my coffee machine.

Very nice WDT. Subtracted one star as it's a little tough getting the needles back in the top part of the case and they are .4mm which is, potentially, a bit thicker than the .35mm often recommended. That said, it works fine with both my stock Breville spouted portafilter that comes with the Infuser (XL840) and a magnetic collar. It also works fine with my bottomless potafilter.

I am a professional woodworker, and VERY picky about this kind of stuff. This product is just great - small, excellent quality all around, does the job at a really low price. The wood is beautiful, the tines are sharp (because of the spring base, even if they get bumped they stay perfectly straight), and the threads are well machined to provide a satisfying opening and closing. It is a perfect example of a simple product made really well with great attention to detail. A pleasure to use, especially at this price point.

Okay first off this thing is very cheap and that's really the only reason it gets a 3 star review instead of lower. There are 2 main problems. First, is that the threading for the screwing in/out mechanism just feels weird to use. Lining it up to securely close the product doesn't feel great and usually takes a few tries to get lined up correctly.The second and bigger problem is that the needles are spaced way too close together that it ends up being pretty ineffective if you just use a circular stirring motion. You need to chop and stab and agitate to be able to break up clumps. Basically as it sits, you can use the 5 needles as a scoop/shovel and pick up a mound of grounds, because they're spaced too tightly together. A MUCH more effective design would be to change the spacing into a square w/ one needle in the center. Or even just 3 needles in a widely spaced triangle.I do not recommend that you buy this product. I ended up cutting off needles #2 and #4 to make it functional to use in a stirring motion.

The tines are pretty flimsy so be careful washing it but it is easy to wash, and easy to use, the product is super light and I like that it has a stand to keep it on between uses.
