NOCO GC017 Socket Plug

This extension/adapter just works. It feels like it's been put together properly: the croc clips are sturdy with the wiring connecting to them with nice ring terminals. The wiring seems a reasonable gauge, with a well-made fuse holder moulded in-line, itself protected by a weatherproof cover. Even the 12V socket has a nice rubber cover to stop dirt getting in when it's not in use. For the money, you couldn't ask for any more. I've been using mine to get a 12V supply straight off the battery (my car needs the ignition on for the cigarette lighter sockets to become active) for a tyre inflator, and I've also tested it with a 12V vacuum cleaner.

Firstly let me say, yes its just a battery to cigar lighter adaptor ( very handy bit of kit) What i can say is this is no cheap junk that you would expect at this price point, it came in a retail box, inside another warehouse box ( still logo'd) so extremely well packed and makes ideal storage for it, the cables are not thin speaker wire stuff, but reasonably thick and well up to the amps that it will handle, same goes for the fuse holder, its proper chunky and seals well, As to the clips, very very good quality, heavy and well made with good solid connections, i also liked the way they are shipped clamped to a thick dense foam block to stop the "teeth" bending, they give a solid connection with enough bite to grip the terminals well, but not fiddly to use, the spring is not over strong so easy to attach with just a finger and thumb. Overall.. Highly recommend these

Great piece of kit

This product works really well & is very well made. Just a problem to be aware of is to check the length from the vehicles battery to the furthest pumping point on the vehicle. It just about reaches the furthest point on my puegout bopper van

This is the second one of these "converters" that I have purchased and can only say that they are top quality and have saved me lots of money, time and trouble with various applications. I use mine mainly to convert the end lead on various Battery Chargers from Cigar lighter ends to clip on leads. I have to keep various batteries charged up when I am not using them and these make various of my chargers more versatile. They are also useful for powering handlamps and various other equipment, direct from a car battery. Highly recommended.

Socket is perfect size for all of my accessory plugs, nice and tight, holds the plug firmly. Fitted with a secured dust cap Total length is 24", including socket and crocodile clips, so not very long, could do with being another foot longer. Well made with very good materials. Crocodile clips can be removed to reveal round terminals, you need an Allan key ( not supplied). Inline fuse holder, with a secured dust cap, which takes a 15amp fuse, there's one already installed, no additional fuses supplied. This is a zombie brand, which means that the design is used by a large number of trader's, who put their own branding on the item.

The one without the crocs is £12.73. This is £5.95 !!! The crocs come off with 2 screws. Now you have the £12.73 model & a spare set if clips with the same 6mm eyelets. Ive attached this to my motorbike battery. This allows me to use the cigarette adapter to charge from my noco g10 and when not on charge i have a usb in so i can charge my phone as an emergency. Nice study feels quality. Well worth it

I removed my cigarette lighter as I didn’t want things hanging out of it. I bought this so I can plug in my tyre inflator. Great quality. Noco is the bolox

I always buy Noco products as I have found them to be well made, robust and reliable. This plug is no exception and much better than those cheaply made ones which end up bent and twisted and the plastic covers easily sliding off the clamp. Would recommend spending the little extra to get a quality product.

I bought this by mistake, and had already opened it. So now that I had a look at it, I can tell you that the Noco GC017 is a very high quality work of art indeed. Even though I ordered the wrong part, It was so nice I wish I could have kept it. Even the packaging impressed me. Good job Noco!

Gut verarbeitete Batterieklemmen um beispielsweise von Starterbatterien direkt 12-V-Geräte zu betreiben.

Konstruktionen på honan gör att 12v hankontakt sitter löst och glider ut med dålig/ingen kontakt som följd. Jan-2023=> Exakt som beskrivning och bild. Rejäla krokodilfästen medföljer men lätt att skruva av kablarna och använda ringfästena istället. Uppfyller förväntningarna enligt beskrivningen så känns prisvärt. 12v kontakt sitter fast hårt och kan inte glida ut.
