What a humdinger this starts with! It really got my attention. 👀 Nothing truly says how much you've missed your girlfriend quite like her finding you playing hide the salami with someone else. Am I right? ⛔️I may like this book, but there were parts that made me want to scream and pull out someone's hair. Darcy and Easton both know how to really try a person's patience, let me tell you. ¡Ay caramba! They are wrong, or rather bad, for each other in so many ways (for most of the book). He's got trust and control issues, and she thinks one way, but does the opposite. Plus, the dude is a major player.I appreciate that he didn't hide it, but he seems to delight in it just a tad too much. It's a bit of a turn off for most.I do like how their friends are honest with them and point out many of the faults in their logic.I like the regular check-ins with characters from the prior books in the series. You can read this as a standalone, but in series order is recommended.I'm thankful that a running case in the series wraps up, even if it gets a bit ugly. OK, it's a real rat's nest! 🐀In case you're wondering, yes, there are some sensitive scenes that may make you feel as murderous as I felt. Some people should never carry the title of parent.I received an author's copy of the audio book that I listened to while reading along. I have been waiting for this book to be release on Audio for a while now and I must say it was so worth the wait. I loved everything about this book from Andrea Smith’s wonderful writing style to the storylines and characters she created to the fabulously talented narrators who brings it all to life, from the pages to my ears. The G-Man series is one of my favorite series, the storylines and characters are interesting and realistic making them easy to relate to and connect with. This is book is Darcy and Easton story, they quickly became my favorite characters. Darcy gets her heart broken by her by Darin, her G-Man boyfriend. Growing up with wealth she thinks nothing of spending her parents money and books a trip to Belize to spend the holiday at a resort. When a man captures her attention she forgets all about Darin and her heartbreak, she is intrigued by him and his English accent. EJ is there with his assistant, Lacey, who appears to be pretty personal with him, yet that does not stop him from pursuing Darcy. Then she meets Eli, they click in an instant and after setting their crossed signals straight they become best of friends. The vacation turned out to be an eye opener for Darcy, her parent meet her there and tell her it is time she grew up and took responsibility of her life, if she wanted a career is the family’s company she will have to work herself up to the top. Back home and to real life she has Lindsey’s wedding and she is surprised to find out EJ is in attendance, the surprise did not end there, turns out EJ is Easton, Taz’s half brother. She is surprised even further to find out what Easton does for a living. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, some angst, some humor, heartfelt and emotional moments and hot romance. In true G-man fashion there are storylines that include action, twists and turns and some thrilling and suspenseful moments. I loved how Easton’s technology and the G-men comes to save the day. Also loved how much Easton grew as a character, from broken to perfectly broken, Darcy grew a whole lot too. It was great to see Lindsey again as well as some of the others. Andrea Smith, thank you for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride.And for the fabulous narration, Gina A. Jones, Alexander Cendese and Sean Posvistak are talented narrators and voice artists. They did an amazing job portraying the characters and bringing them to life. They gave each character their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Night Moves (G-Man #3) by Andrea Smith4.5 stars!!Well, if the cover hasn't sold you, the story certainly will, all I can say is WOW what an amazing COVER!! Who wouldn't want to read the contents!!This story is about Darcy, you may remember her from Love Plus One as she was Lindsey's roommate at college. Darcy was a bit of a spoilt brat, being an only "miracle" child, her parents catered to her every whim, her father owned his own company which Darcy was aiming to take over once she had finished college. Her life was therefore mapped out for her, the only thing missing was love and after seeing Lindsey and Taz, Darcy was a bit jealous. Darcy was in a relationship with another G-Man called Darin, however, one night she surprises him in more ways than one when she turns up unannounced and he is caught with his pants down, literally. She decides to get away from it all and goes on holiday to Belize, she just needs to forget her crappy life.Whilst in Belize, Darcy spots EJ a.k.a Easton Matthews. He is 6ft 3, gorgeous, dark, sexy, handsome, but he loves himself, he comes across as cocky and arrogant but is this is all a facade. He is half American/English, talks with a British accent and is a very successful entrepreneur. He is very very sexy!!"I want to eff you in the worst way possible. What I don't want is to be some revenge eff of yours in order to get back at your cheating boyfriend who you'll most likely get back with before you land in D.C. I'm not that guy, love. Turns out he was burned very badly once before and once you hear his back story it all makes sense and you can finally begin to understand the whys.Whilst in Belize, Darcy also meets Eli, who turns out to be an amazing friend, and an amazing gay BF, I think every girl needs one of these, they always turn out to be the best, the most reliable and dependable and the most honest, Eli turns out to be all of these and I adore him!!"You're my brotha from anotha."Turns out that Easton is obviously more taken with Darcy than he lets on in Belize and soon his stalkerish tendencies rise to the top and we see a whole different side to Easton. What will happen when Easton tries to not only invade Darcy's personal life but also her business?I loved the way that Darcy grew some in this book, it would have been easy for her to capitulate and pull a childish tantrum when things were not going her way with her father's business, but the way she chose to rise to the top of her own merit said a lot about the woman that she was becoming. Her business ethic was great considering the stresses or "stress" that she was under (in more ways than one!)"Dudes are just plain freakin' from another planet; I wasn't thinking Mars either, more like Ur-Anus!!"Easton, my little Brit, I knew that he was hiding something and when it all comes out your heart breaks for him, he has had a tough life from the beginning. You would think that with his mothers social standing and wealth he would have had the perfect upbringing, but alas, no. His mother was too caught up in her own world to worry about her son, who she was using as an emotional pawn against his father. Then add malicious and spiteful super models and out pops "this" Easton, can Darcy be the one to tame him and show him that he can love and be loved?This book does have some kink, not heavy and not gratuitous. As with all Andrea Smith books, you have some smoking hot scenes and I mean smoking!! With a bod like that...well lets just say he puts it to good use and he has piercings!!I thoroughly enjoyed Easton's story, I loved catching up with the usual suspects from books 1 and 2 and glad we still had glimpses of Slate and Taz. The title "Night Moves" is pure freakin genius, I love how and where this name originated.In summary a fab read, Easton is a marmite character, you will either love him or hate him, but please give him the benefit of the doubt and spread him on your toast...make a meal out his story, hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

Another amazing storyline in g-man series ! There's new alpha in town he's a Brit ! Darcy Nicole Sheridan 22yrs old,beautiful,single,sexy & spoilt.raised by wealthy parents an only child get spoilt rotten.she has he heart broken flys over to Belize over Xmas holidays ease pain.were she meets smoking hot,wealthy & mysterious E.J. There's defiantly sexual chemistry,back home more surprises in store including new male roommate,her besties wedding,surprise encounter with E.J.darcy confused in more ways than one ! Changes in store for darcys career,love life.great to be reunited with characters from other books in series,g-man series unexpected surprise hot alpha men,who love & protect ones they love.emotional scenes,I'm wondering why i waited so long to read them.one more to read holiday wrap be sad when i get to end well done andrea amazing hot series ! I've added another 3 hotties to my book boyfriends slate,taz,Easton.

This is a typical romance. Darcy finds her boyfriend in an uncompromising position with the office slut. She dashes off to Belize where she meets EJ who she really likes. He however has a jealous employee, with benefits with him called Laycee. You can probably guess how the story goes and as the title contains G-man, obviously the FBI are involved.Darcy is very impulsive, her character is written very well as she is spoilt and thinks the world revolves around her. She does change and grow up throughout the book. Easton (EJ) also has some character changing to do before they reach their HEA.Suitable for adults. I don't think it would appeal to teenagers, YA but just in case, there are sexual situations and mild bondage.

Darcy makes for a very entertaining, if potty-mouthed, narrator, so it just as well most of the book is written from her perspective. The character is quite a spoiled brat, but manages to grow up throughout the book without losing her chutzpah.Easton is a bit of an arse, but the parts from his perspective manage to keep him sympathetic.For British readers the 'Britishisms' throughout this book will be entertaining too, sometimes they are spot on and sometimes way, way off, but still there's fun to be had spotting the dodgy ones.

All three books worth every penny!! Loved this one just as much as the other 2, although a little predictable in places, the storyline was great. Was also good to draw a line under the rat bastard!
