I liked it, little strong but in a good way where 1 spray is all you reallh need imo. Wear it like once a week as a work cologne.

Smells great, lasts hours and is affordable. Anyone having issues with it only lasting an hour don't know how to apply cologne properly, google is a great resource.

Does not have overpowering fragrance

This is a religious cologne I’ll buy for my husband. The spray its self is amazing. It lasts for months!!! I don’t know how to describe the smell other than sex in a bottle!! This is probably my favorite scent to get my husband. Perfect for a gift for the father in law! Truly the bottle size is perfect. We take it on trips. In a way it smells sweet but in a good way. The color of the bottle is as shown.

I found this lively and sweet. Read the official description and I'll break it down. "Woody, dark and evocative, for rugged allure. There’s something about a black hat: mysterious, unpredictable, provocative. Entering on notes of dark sandalwood, the scent makes a bold pepper play, then relaxes into a rich leathery warmth." The top notes were lively, sweet, and floral. Maybe a bit fruity. Having spent considerable time across Japan and Korea, I understand the aroma of sandalwood. This cologne does not come close to the sandalwood scents of cologne oils or perfume oils. Top notes last a few minutes. It wasn't what I was expecting. The fruity and floral fragrances were quite nice but not very manly. The heart notes got a bit better once it settles down. It was a little less lively and sweet. The heart notes and floral and evaporate over a half-hour or so. I think I detected some vanilla as the fruity top notes faded. I couldn't find any pepper at all. I have no idea how the official description correlates with the actual smell. By the time a half-hour elapses, it is settling down into the base notes. It is musky with a bit of floral fragrance. I couldn't find any leather. A few hours later, I have to shove my nose down my shirt to remember I applied it. In summary, the advertisement uses the words "dark", "dark sandalwood", black hat". Instead, I found it "lively", "fruity", "floral". Quite the opposite, although it settles down into a musky scent but still keeping some floral character.

Couldn't afford the scent my husband used to wear, but he loves this much better.

Have tried pretty many of the expensive brands (actually my wife buys them because i'm too cheap to blow money for scented water and when I see anything over 30bucks my sensibility kicks in and i'm out. Stetson has been my favorite for decades. It's reasonably priced and best purchased on sale. I decided to try the 'Black' version but honestly don't find it an improvement over the original. It has a stronger initial scent but doesn't seem to have much staying power :) Back to Original Stetson in the future. Overall Okay buy but don't expect it to grab attention.
