A natural matt finish impregnating sealer that, on some stones, may also delicately enhance colour and texture. Helps protect against staining. Strongly repels water, oil and grease. Allows surfaces to breathe. Maintain with LTP Waxwash for floors and LTP Stonewash for walls. Directions for use Shake the bottle prior to use. Ensure surface to be treated is completely clean and dry. Apply with a soft cloth, brush or sealant applicator pad allowing at least two hours between coats. More absorbent floors may require further coats and on such floors the product should be generously applied. After one hour rub over the surface with a soft fluff free cloth or buffing machine to obtain a uniform finish and remove any excess sealer. This product will dry after about two hours, but will take a further three days to become fully resistant. N.B. The aim is to completely fill the substrate with sealer without over applying it. Do not apply in direct sunlight. The sealer will help to inhibit oil based stains but such spillages should be wiped up immediately. On rougher surfaced floors it may be prudent to use an appropriate surface sealer as well . Some surfaces may appear delicately enhanced once dry. Use only in well ventilated areas. As encaustic tiles are patterned air cured cement tiles, they are very porous..If it is for a new installation you will find these patterned cement tiles very porous. Hence for new installations ; After fixing and before grouting apply a generous coat to the surface and leave to dry overnight. This creates a good base layer to build additional coats. Apply further coats at 2 hourly intervals until the tile is fully saturated. Saturation has been achieved when an even layer of sealer is still visible on the surface after 20 minutes. Wipe up any excess and leave for a further 2 hours before grouting the joints. After grouting and when the surface is completely dry apply a final coat of LTP Mattstone making sure to cover the joints. Clean and maintain thereafter using LTP Waxwash. Overall, a reliable and effective sealer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value for money *by S***9 on 17 February 2020* Used to seal my new limestone floor. Easy to apply and really helps to bring out the colour of the floor. I applied two coats and initially my floor (which is cream coloured) looked a couple of shades darker but once it was dry there wasn't much difference compared to the original colour.
