Each sheet is pure white. It feels smooth under your pencils and seems very strong. I'm a coloured pencil artists, have tried many different papers and boards but always come back to the Bristol series. In my opinion it's perfect, no other like it. Ink flows very well. No bleeding or feathering. Sharp fine point nibs don't damage this board. The pad arrived in perfect condition inside a bubble envelope

Using with coloured pencils,

Definitely my favourite brand of Bristol Board available in the UK. This Bristol has a whiter colour to it than its competitors which is very noticable if you have them side by side, a great smooth surface, and takes repeated erasing well. I use it for working with coloured pencil detail work, inks, art marker, and watercolour washes. Like any Bristol it will buckle under any heavy watercolour use but it will take a light wash without complaint. Would highly recommend this, particularly for anyone who works with art marker or inks since there's very to no little bleed with this stuff.

This is the first time I've used Bristol board and I love it. It's so good for markers and colour pencils. I was using super thin 'marker paper' for my markers before but that bled/spread and ripped so easily. There's a little spreading with heavy marker application but it's the best paper I've found so far and you can add a lot of ink onto the page without worrying that it's about to rip. Also, being card it's a lot sturdier.

As a graphite artist i absolutely love this paper, it's smooth as a babies bum ! has the feeling of being quite thick but used with a back light it becomes remarkably transparent . Anyone who likes the bristol smooth paper will love this but it has the added feature of being totally white ! i've so far only worked on the A4 but i shall certainly be ordering a few of the A3 also from now on.

I got this specific pad on a recommendation from a very accomplished professional pencil artist, all I can say is WOW! It's fantastic for recreating realistic pencil drawings, it blends and erases like a charm and is acid free so it wont discolour over time. I ordered on monday and received it on saturday morning, it was packaged very well, I am completely satisfied.

Although I'm not a professional artist, I've been drawing with colored pencils as a hobby for 3-4 years. I've tried about 90% of the paper brands on the market, and the money I've spent aside, the time lost and the disappointment have been even more important to me. I was so impressed with this brand that I felt the need to leave a review. It is perfectly compatible with all my Caran d'Ache, Polychromos, and Prismacolor pencils. It has wonderful white surface.I really recommend it; don't waste your time and definitely give it a try.by the way it was well packed and delivered.

I had to get used to it because it was different from the papers that I had been using, but I discovered that I got the best results using colored pencil on this surface. Once you try it, you'll love it for detail and layering.

Es handelte sich um einen erneuten Kauf. Jedoch sind diesmal einige Probleme aufgetreten. Ein schwach klebender Maskierfilm ließ sich nicht ohne Beschädigung entfernen. Ebenso war das Papier nicht gut geeignet für Glasradierer bzw. Skalpell. Ich weiß nicht ob zwischenzeitlich etwas bei der Herstellung verändert wurde, jedoch so extreme Probleme hatte ich in der Vergangenheit nicht.
