We are pleasantly surprised how it had all included in this kit, Great value!! And adorable! Would recommend if gifting for a 10 to 13 year old that like to work with intricate things. My 13 year old granddaughter says it is satisfying, calming, but takes patience. She also said that some of the colors can be confusing as they are very close in some areas, to just take your time at first to understand which is which. She said she would definitely get another!

I was bored and needed a hobby. This latch hook kit was so fun to do. It came with everything you need. It did take me a few months to finish but in the end it turned out so cute. I also ordered one for my mother in-law.

Overall I was happy with how this turned out, but the kit wasn't perfect. The colors are a little off compared to what is pictured on the instructions, and the some strands of yarn were a bit longer than others and needed to be trimmed. The printing of the image on the canvas was a little off too, and I sometimes had to fill in the spaces differently to how the instructions told me to, just to get everything to come out okay. I actually returned the first version of this kit I ordered and got a replacement because the canvas printing was so misaligned. The second kit I was sent was a bit better in that regard. I worried I wouldn't have enough yarn to complete this rug, because I did have to go off pattern, but I had just enough for some colors and more than enough for others so I could finish all of it!

I'm missing 3 different colors of yarn from my kit. picture is printed on the canvas backwards so you can't go by the directions. unless you can read and flow directions backwards.

I am half way through the second row and already found 2 missing colors! (q-brown and X-pink) :( The labeling is nice, the pattern is cute. The written pattern doesn't match the printed pattern on the canvas, but they say just follow the canvas. No problem, except for the missing colors. My canvas has 3+ fewer columns than the pattern, so, assuming they included the right amounts, I'll have a bit of extra yarn at the end.

Well what can I say I got what I paid for being I've did latch hooks for years and usually you do have to buy the pricier ones to get the quality of yarn and backing. This one i so poorly constructed. The yarn is terrible it starts twisting loose during the latching process, so poorly color marked on the canvas one has to kind of guess at it and the backing on the canvas is so tight to the canvas its very hard to get the latch hook through
