Mitre Unisex Aircell Football Ankle Protection Shin Pads, Extremely Breathable, Lightweight Shin Guard

These Mitre Aircell Football Ankle guards are excellent! They are nice and light, so they don’t feel bulky during play, yet they offer great ankle protection. They fit my son really well, giving him both comfort and confidence on the pitch. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.

Standard football shinpad for the kids. We bought maybe two or three pairs a few years ago (for our two two boys, ages 10-14ish) and they've lasted well. Been several times a week for the last few years and no real sign of wear, so definitely got our money's worth. Ankle guard offers support/protection, but not detachable (some shin pads you can detach the guards/supports - not with these).

This is the second pair of this brand of shin pads I have purchased for a keen 13 year old footballer, so have gone for the largest size - the first time was several years ago and I haven’t found d anything better for the price and value for money. They fit beautifully but I went for the largest size. They hold securely in place very well, are comfortable and the ventilation is an added bonus. I usually get the job of cleaning them, and they look as good as new after a quick soak. I expect them to last a couple of seasons without problem and will not hesitate to buy another set. Super value, great quality and would definitely recommend for young, keen footballers.

True to size. Perfect for an 8 year old. Good shin coverage with ventilation holes on the front. Foot strap fits well in comparison to others we tried making sure the ankle protectors stay in the correct place.

Comfortable, but the XL only goes halfway up my shin and I’m 188cm. Not a lot of protection around the ankle either, padding is light. Alright for the value and I’m not playing every Sunday. Like the design though and easy to slip on etc.

Great fit for my 11 year old grandson who's average height and size..... Good quality and great value for money...

The shin pad part is very good, they look nice, fit well, they're very light, breathable, they have a good velcro strap and are very strong, but the ankle protection sleeve part is a let down, there's a slight bit of light padding inside the elastic sleeve around the ankle, probably 2mm thick lightweight sponge that is very soft and pretty much pointless. I was expecting proper ankle protection with plastic or gel discs inside the sleeve. Been caught in the ankle by studs wearing these in most matches and I've felt it every time, it's about as good as putting an extra pair of socks on. If these had discs of gel or plastic on the ankles they would be perfect. I will look for proper ankle protection next time.

Goede maat en licht materiaal, maar na 3x dragen scheurde het klittenband eraf. Jammer.

Aus meiner Sicht sind die Erwartungen voll erfüllt und ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen. Größe passt prima - so wie angegeben

Uncomfortable, was much smaller than size table suggested (I got a large but clearly needed at least an extra large). Also very rigid, which is probably good for protection but wasn't great when the shin guards were too small anyway.
