AMD had apparently stopped shipping the mounting brackets for their wraith coolers, which if you try to mount the fan without them, you're not going to be able to get the fan to screw into the mounting holes. I found that out the hard way. When I tried to mount it on my motherboard, it wouldn't screw into the motherboards CPU' mounting holes, and it kept picking the CPU out of its housing because of the thermal paste is pretty sticky, and when I had sliding the cpu off of the cooler. I dropped it amd bent 3 posts, and that was the end of that for that design is just a bad design. I'd recommend this fan because it does come with am4 mounting brackets, which are easy to install, and once you get the CPU in, all you do is just put the thermal paste on and set the cooler down on the threaded posts, tighten the hollow threaded screws, fuzz fuss, no cuss. But be forewarned that when you open it up out of the box, you're going to see a lot of parts, like I said in my opener, it seems more complicated than it has to be, but it quickly becomes apparent as you follow the instructions, which aren't very detailed, but I guess it doesn't have to be, since I figured it out. Review: Best Air Cooler you can get for 19 bucks seriously - Building my B760 + I5-12600KF system and needed something reliable and what will hold my CPU temperatures under 60 degrees. It was the best air cooler I ever could buy for 18.89 US dollars. Very simple to install, they have dozens of videos on YT on how to do that. Also, everything included, they also put AM5 outer holes, so you can use it on both the latest platforms. Best decision to buy this Thermalright 120 SE version because it has 5 heat pipes, which will keep your CPU cool always. Very nice for the value of the air cooler. Very happy to share with you the photo of the result. ## Features - 【AGHP technique】5×6mm heat pipes apply AGHP III technique, Solve the Inverse gravity effect caused by vertical / horizontal orientation,Up to 20000 hours of industrial service life, S-FDB bearings ensure long service life of air-cooler radiators. Compared to the intel stock cooler, this thing is silent, even when running max fan speed. It also keeps my cpu below 60, when the stock cooler went to 100. At idle, temps are around 30-40C. For the price, i'd have to reccomend this cooler. I'm sure if you spend $20 more, theres a cooler that's even better, but this thing works great for me! Just suprised at how much the stock cooler was holding me back. ## Frequently Bought Together - Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE White ARGB CPU Air Cooler, AK120 SE White ARB, 5 Heatpipes, TL-C12CW-S PWM Quiet Fan CPU Cooler with S-FDB Bearing, for AMD AM4/Intel LGA1700/1150/1151/1200 - ARCTIC MX-4 (4 g) - Premium Performance Thermal Paste for All Processors (CPU, GPU - PC), Very high Thermal Conductivity, Long Durability, Safe Application, Non-Conductive - CORSAIR 3500X ARGB Mid-Tower ATX PC Case – Panoramic Tempered Glass – Reverse Connection Motherboard Compatible – 3X CORSAIR RS120 ARGB Fans Included – White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kr/products/495478561-thermalright-assassin-king-120-se-white-argb-cpu-air-cooler](https://www.desertcart.kr/products/495478561-thermalright-assassin-king-120-se-white-argb-cpu-air-cooler) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Korea* *Store origin: KR* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
